In hindsight, the era of the finest cars ever made . All the kit you really need without the silly tech you don’t.

We did enjoy it, sir, but I would have preferred a leather interior with some nice rear electric windows, of course.

Brilliant, Mr Lloyd, I genuinely can't remember the last time I saw one of these on the road. This generation looks far more handsome than the facelift model with the gingercatered.

@lloydvehicleconsulting But do you prefer the 1999 post facelift Nissan Almera that the Mildred's had, I personally think it looked much current now than its facelift replacement did.

Thank you for the confirmation, Mr Watters! Yes, I suspected the wood may be aftermarket.

Never managed to reach the heights of the primera, but I started with a 1999 micra, then a 94 Sunny 3 door and finally a bright Red 98 Almera 1.6 SRI which was lovely. Never had one problem with any of them, apart from when A london black cab rear ended my micra,

I have driven an N14 Sunny (also known as the Y10 Traveller) on the channel, and it was absolutely great. The same owner also had a K11 Micra 1.0 Special Edition, which I also very much enjoyed. Shame about your Micra!
@nathanstevfulАй бұрын
@@lloydvehicleconsulting I wrote the taxi off, and £1000 damage to my yellow micra, had it repaired but it never quite felt the same. Im glad I got the sunny, bit more space, it was a 1.4 but still no more power compared to the micra1.3.

Yes, the 1.3 in the K11 Micra was similar in power output to the 1.4 in the N14 Sunny.

The P11s seem to be surprisingly good cars. The main problem is actually finding a good one these days.

I had a 1.6 gx in silver, S reg. Bought for £350 from a backstreet dealer in Chatham. The electric window regulator didn't work and needed to be replaced and the air conditioning needed a regas but apart from that it performed admirably for 3 years. It did have a tendency to give me electric shocks though, but I forgive it for that. Good car.
@lloydvehicleconsultingАй бұрын
That sounds like a really good deal for £350! Must have been a while ago now. I remember buying cars of that era for that sort of money....

Nissan got it so right with the P11. Not sure what happened with the P12 but everything they did right with the 11 was not at all carried over or improved upon for the newer model. The late mid to late 90s was a fine period for cars
