After multiple losses in 2004, this match felt like Hewitts last chance to prove that he could still be competitive in the rivalry having dominated Federer in juniors. In the end Fed utterly demolished him like it was a walk in the park.

What's the closest match to vintage prime Federer (2006) vs prime Djokovic (2011) that was played in hard courts? I really wish we had had a clash like that. There's also something I'd like to be checked. I would like to compare what the weak era pace was. I've watched enough of both eras to think that there is marginally no difference, but still I would like to know if there is a way to compare both. There *is* a lot of difference in terms of angles, strategy, spin, volleys... Much richer and variated almost 20 years ago than nowadays. Everyone plays pretty much the same style, it's unbearable compared to anything +10 years before.
