Plant Based Chicken
1/2 lb firm tofu
1 tbsp miso paste
1 cup vital wheat gluten
2/3 cup chickpea flour
1/2 cup water
Salt
Sauce
1 tbsp White onion
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Dill pickle, juice
3 tbsp Ketchup
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp Paprika
Coating
2 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp thyme
1 1/2 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp celery salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp mustard
4 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp ginger
3 tbsp white pepper
“Buttermilk”
1 cup oat milk
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Blend al the ingredients for “chicken” and form nuggets. Boil in vegetable broth for 15 minutes. Coat with seasoned flour, buttermilk and flour again. Fry fo 1-2 in until golden.
