As a British man who has recently been accepted into the Obese BMI range, I could eat about 3 of those roast dinners a day. I genuinely need help. I think I have diabetes.

Start small and work. You didn't get obese over night. So the road to health will be hard. Get therapy. Eat less. And start exercise. Focus on building the habit. Not working yourself to exhaustion. You get one life so don't waste it being a fat fucking slob. You are more than capable of getting healthy. I faith you can turn your life around. Slow and steady.

1:15 it's actually a genius competition. They get to sell extra bags from people buying that are trying to win, with the high chance that someone eats the prize winning crisp and thus they don't even need to give the cash away. Given I've seen two different stories saying someone has eaten a winning crisp (another one was a guy who was spotted accidentally eating it on tik tok live) this seems to be working as an idea.

yup, it's "correct usage" of "meme", it just the word "meme" became a meme. Before I know some folk said "macro [images]", "reaction images", "funnies" (cancer). I think the term "[copy]pasta" is also older than the widespread usage of "meme", but that encompasses essentially text memes that nowadays due to much faster internet it's easier and more convenient to share as screenhot of a post on twitter of a post on reddit of a post on tumblr

It's a clever competition though. They make more money from people buying the bags still... But unlike having a big golden ticket people will notice they accidentally eat the winning symbol and then Walkers don't even have to pay out. Though I've no idea how they determine if it is an actual winning crisp or a potato that happened to grow a bit in that shape and just so happened to go through the machine like that... I mean they cut out a lot of crisps, there must be ones cut into particular shapes every week or so

The outdrinking Americans is true. On NYE once in Chamonix, I was with 3 English friends, and 4 Americans challenged us to down shots with each beer (something we did every time we had a pint anyway). After the 4th pint, 2 of them had been sick, and after the 5th, the other 2 sloped off. We didn't see them for the rest of the night. 😂

As for memes. Richard Dawkins did invent the word. It was about how ideas could spread similarly to how genes spread as a result of evolution. Modern day internet memes can easily be seen as ideas, so the definition hasn't shifted that much.
