WOW , control issues aside, thats a frikken tough boat, and the battery didnt move either!

On the second bank strike the batt did move forward and break a small tab off the inside. But that's it! I felt sure the hull was going to be cracked!

The misses felt vindicated when it turned out it was the boat! 😅😆. Yeah gutted, must be a sucker for punishment. But I think I'd like to try again. 🤔

With this boat if it starts leaking grease the shaft and it fixes it

@IsaacSchultz-lz8jc alot of rc boats eventually leak through the prop shaft. Jet boats especially.

it really feels like some of those chinese brands don't do any proper testing and quality control.

I think I was unlucky and got a bad one. On the balance of probabilities, normally, I would imagine they are reasonably reliable. 🤔👍

@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 idk, I heard WL toys has gone downhill hard. And I've seen several reviews recently, showing such shortcomings with electronics. Happy with my MJXs tho

Well that's unfortunate. I was actually looking at getting this boat on sale because of the looks. Glad I never bought it after seeing this, but I would think an electronics swap would fix the issue. Still, not good for out of the box. Thanks for sharing!

Well, I've got a feeling I was just unlucky. From past experience, Wltoys have been reasonable issue wise. This is the first time I've ever come across a problem like this. 👍

@scaleworksRC I've returned it to the seller for a refund. They never offered a replacement. Otherwise, I would have taken it. Instead, they did the usual eBay seller trick of offering silly refunds until I got fed up and just started a return. 😅

This is the first time I’ve seen this issue with this boat on KZfaq at least so I’m leaning towards a faulty esc/reciver combo
