still hot, take off your nostalgia glasses. Back then a lot of people were also following stupid trends, dressed the same to fit into some mainstream stereotypes. Just as they do today. And there are still a lot of artists that "are themselves" expressing themselves, Billy Eilish as an example for mainstream pop music, but there are a ton of cool individual artists withing underground scenes all across different genres.

Performances like this is why I started to listen to No Doubt back then. Now when I see Gwen all dressed up and hear her sing you can tell the rawness and energy is not there anymore. It's all about the paycheck now. Give me a Dive Bar with an up and coming band over a "$100/ticket entertainment-performance" any day.

Joseph Aguilar Rose tinted glasses. Its tough if you are an ageing artist to create some truly big hits anymore. Especially considering music is your primarily skill. Gwen isnt young anymore, she at most can do tours and adapt to today's music.

It’s all about the difference between being in your ‘20’s and in your ‘’50’s....gee wizz, if I was supposed to still be dressing like I did in my ‘20’s and singing songs about the break up with my first boyfriend...while ignoring marriage, motherhood, travel, maturity, life lessons, a changing world etc etc etc, I’d be Madonna...I’m glad that Gwen has remained true to herself throughout her life’s journey, and brought us along for the ride.
