This STILL sounds new and fresh after all these years!

I lost my mom last year (4/22/22) and this was her favorite band. I remember her blasting No Doubt albums though the house when she was cleaning or cooking and singing along. Every time I hear this song I can see a memory of her giving me smile and hearing her singing. May not be the case for a lot of people, but the drumming is one of my favorite parts of this song, it just brings it all together so well.

I know that Gwen gets a lot of the spotlight in this group but goddamn...the instrumental arrangements for this album were absolutely spot on. Never a dull moment.

Man being a teenager in the 90s it seemed like no matter what type of music you were into everyone was listening to these guys when tragic kingdom dropped. I have vivid memories of listening to this album on my walkman on the way to school every day and although I would rather listen to spiderwebs or don't speak at that time I've come to realize this track is the true gem of the album

This is the Gwen I have always loved. I love how she is so happy now, and with Blake. But, this right here is her best work with No Doubt.

This song made me a fan of No Doubt, and is what made me decide to listen to the whole Tragic Kingdom album. Years later, I still hold that album in very high esteem.

2 of my favorite things about this song: 1) didn’t realize she was actually vocalizing the beat when she sings “you sure have changed since yesterday.” it blends in so seamlessly. so talented 2) at 3:10 when she says “and now you’re looking like I used to” and tony is at her feet cleaning up the spaghetti sauce. i think she’s referencing how in love she was with him. she used to be at his feet because she wanted to keep him. idk if that makes sense

ICONIC, LEGENDARY! Being from Los Angeles, anytime i listen to Gwen or No Doubt I get misty eyed thinking about LA during the late 90's-mid 00's!

It was amazing to be 16, seeing No Doubt open for Bush as your first concert, and falling in love with them. They’re my all time favorite band. The first 3 albums are my young years and I will always cherish them so much. I wouldn’t trade those memories.

High School years, although my homies and me where more in to hip hop and metal, we had special love for Gwen and No Doubt, she was our platonic love, I remember at that time that a lot of girls tried to look like her, Southern California in the mid 90’s was the shhhh

I feel honored to be part of Anaheim and to realize that the house next to the convenience store @1:47 was actually my grandparents house, thank you Gwen for being such an inspiration. Still today that convenience store is there and shopping feels like walking with Gwen.

If you know anything about Ska, the guy on the swing is Terry Hall from The Specials, a fricken legend!

This was my favorite song on the album back in the day (with "Hey You" as a close second), but I didn't think it had a snowball's chance in hell of becoming a single. Mainly because they had already released 4 singles, with "Excuse Me Mr." being the 4th and also probably my least favorite cut from the CD if I'm being honest. Yet I still remember writing in a fan letter to the band that if they released this as a single, then Tragic Kingdom would definitely go on to sell over 10 million copies. It was close at the time. A few months later, I had MTV on in the background. The TV was muted, but I could tell by the what I saw (the drummer tapping rapidly) that odds were pretty good it was Sunday Morning. And lo and behold, it was! I remember being so happy that day. As it turns out, the album has now sold over 16 million copies. I'll never know to this day if my letter played any part whatsoever, no matter how small, in this song becoming a single, but I'd like to think I did my part.

I love this band so much. First Gwen has such a great voice especially for this genre and her style. She was meant to be an icon. Another thibg that always reminds me of ND are those bass lines. As a bassist I've always been impressed with Tony's skills and lines. Damn, such a great band 😍
