When I was 15 or 16 years old I used to think why do people talk about money so much like college placement package, fee etc. Now I have realised that money matters the most. You cannot have a beautiful wife, house, good health, respect in society without money.

I am going through poverty and I can feel what the man is saying..I have no job after lockdown, I am doing a training in web development..4 days back my harddisk got damaged (probably dead) and I don't have 1500 rs to buy a new harddisk..It sucks, the feeling sucks...the privileged childs of rich parents can't understand this feeling because they have their shelter,their shield,their parents.

My father used to say from morning to evening earn as much as you can there should be no limits but as soon as you return home even if you have not earned a single penny then you must be satisifed.... IN short always be consistent whether in life or be it relationship....

Some people feel like money is the root of all evil and they regard money as filthy lucre, but it's not at all true. These things are only said by people who always lack financial freedom and by saying these things, they just try to hide their failure in making money. This mindset won't lead them anywhere.

Good morning sir, I totally agree with you that money is not an evil . Being poor is no fun. I appreciate your view that money should not be an obsession. However, I beg to differ with the point that we should consume things produced so that our economy keeps growing. I believe that what ever is needed to live a comfortable life should be consumed. But over consumption is definitely not beneficial, no matter how sweet or pleasant it may appear while consuming. Just imagine what would happen if everyone of this country travels in his/ her own car. Definitely car manufacturers would be happy to sell such a large number of cars as it would scale up their revenue. But what a pity would be for the roads and the environment! I believe things are made for living our lives smoothly and comfortably. Living life is the Central Theme and all other are subordinate or secondary to it. Even money, if it is in excess than one' s needs, would lead to vices,of course with some exceptions. Ego, exploitation, discrimination etc. are the byproducts of having excess money. There is an old saying- " Excess of every thing is bad." Even Gautam Buddha, while replying what is poison has said," every thing which is in excess is poison." Money is absolutely important for some key areas. 1.Health-->I should get the best healthcare facility .Thus i am ready to pay the maximum premium 2.Education-->Self or children. No I am not talking about donation but education comes at a cost. Rest can be modest enough...like its ok to chose a 2 bhk than 3 bhk unless absolutely necessary...
