Waiting for the whole series on No Gi.

My first mma fight I did uchimata with double overhooks. I went for harai ogoshi at first but got the uchi mata, it was one of my dreams to hit uchi mata in MMA

You showed that underhook/head placement grip in a Harai Goshi video you did a while back. You say it's nothing special, but your instruction on grips has probably helped me more than any single technique.

Judo amazing exercise you can see even this tension in the muscles holding a position for teaching 💪 isometrics make some serious conditioning for fighting! Kind of like when sensei used to joke me so hard in demos!! You get really comfortable in those areas and it pays off later in your career.

When executing that throw I find it hard to control the far wrist when the wrist is sweaty. Is it ok, or advisable, to execute the throw with a collar tie and a under hook?

When I got the underhook and when I got the judo positions my opponent escapes his hip from my hip and I can't throw him. What can I do?

Thanks for sharing this system! Question: I'm usually much taller than my opponents (I'm 6'5), and find it difficult to establish a strong underhook - I almost feel like I'm putting myself in a shoulderlock. Any recommendations for the taller player in this scenario?
