I was just listening to the Greg Lorie (Jesus Revolution Movie) radio show this morning making a case for Hell regarding "alleged Christian's" who have "regular or habitual" sin issues. Looking to salvation based on the actions of the sinner rather than the actions of The Savior. Fruits, not Roots. He makes a compelling argument that had me in bondage for most of my life.

"Holiness" is a status, an identity that's given by God that cannot be gained or lost.

Lordship salvation is clearly an exchange - if I give the right things to God, He will give me eternal life in exchange

were saved by grace alone through faith and what christ has done for us. yes we walk in christ which is holiness. everything that christ did for me is applied to me.

Holiness in Hebrews 12:14 according to my Greek/ Hebrew key study Bible says This is a quality of holiness that can be perceived by others", the word is hagiosune (42) greek/hebrew study bible). to stand out or be conspicuous amongst our fellow man in a Godly manner. Hence our fellow man sees such a believer in a positive light by peaceful fruits of righteousness. To suggest that a believer has to be holy enough to merit salvation is utterly absurd. It’s music to the ears of the legalist.

It's amazing how they can preach salvation by grace and the same time teach works salvation. Most of these holiness types are some of the most arrogant and unkind people I've ever met that usually struggle with hidden sin. If it's the way he teaches no one would be saved.

Dr. Earley is correct. We are called to love God. We are called to walk in obedience. Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. 2DO NOT CONFORM TO THE PATTERN OF THIS WORLD, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. Paul is asking the greatest thing he could ask a person,to offer their life as a sacrifice, not to another person, or a church, but a living sacrifice to God. What could be strong enough to motivate a person to give their own life away,for the sake of God,in the name of God? Paul tells us,it's actually embedded in verse 1. What are the mercys of God? The first 11 chapters in Romans explains what those mercys are. Romans 1-3 explains that we are sinners and enemies of God, that we deserve God's wrath but Chapters 4-5 he explains salvation and mercies of God in Jesus,how this is the greatest revelation of his love, mercy, and grace. What good is having imputed righteousness, except for it to produce conditional righteousness in our everyday lives. If it doesn't exist conditionally in our daily living, I would highly doubt if it was ever imputed to begin with.

By faith alone? That is a Christian trope. The only place that phrase occurs is in the book of James, where it is preceded by the word "NOT..." Consider Paul in Romans 2: God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness-indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who WORKS what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God (Who has committed all judgment to the Son). For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad. Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise... Folly is joy to one who lacks judgment, but a man of understanding walks a straight path.

The New Man/Regenerated Soul that lives inside us goes to Heaven, our Corrupted Flesh goes in the Ground. The New Man never Sins, our Flesh sins until the Resurrection when we receive our New Glorified Bodies. My Corrupted Flesh will not go to Heaven, my Saved Soul WILL. Philippians 3:21 King James Version 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Stop the video. You do know holy means to separate. You mean pure? No. What if at the moment God parts faith to you, enough to get you in, He also takes your life, so no time to live a holy life? If He has predesignated you before the disruption of the world, nothing can stop your entry.
