I like stale peeps. I tried dehydrated once and those were good but stale are the best. Thanks for taking us with you every shopping trip can't be a success. You did find a few good things.

As for the figs, I make jam using strawberry jello and my figs. If you want the recipe I will gladly share. It tastes just like you are eating strawberries!

I used to work at a goodwill. Our boss would tell us the day before the color of the day to clear them out asap before the day came. There were giant dumpsters that smashed all. Supposably the clothing were disposed of in a separate bin and would be shipped to 3rd world countries. Us soon

Those diapers would be a great thing to of been donated to a women and children shelter. That’s where I would’ve donated them to instead of thrift store.

I agree. It bothers me that Goodwill charges for those diapers that people get for free &/or their insurance pays for them. I work with adults & children on the autism spectrum & they are the diapers given to them at no charge to the family. I don’t think Goodwill should be profiting from them. They should be donated to shelters, like you suggested!

Pat, I am 75, and remember that "trippy" was a used to describe things that were psychadelic, funky, something you experienced when you were taking a "trip" on acid back in the 60's.

How funny, in all of my (almost) 60 years of life, I never knew people liked stale Peeps. I am grossed out by stale food, so that’s my answer 😊 Edit- I am not sure I’ve ever eaten a Peep though. Too sugary for me:) 🐥🫣
