Perky young Nanette attempts to save the marriage of her uncle and aunt by untangling Uncle Jimmy from several innocent but ensnaring flirtations. Attempting one such unentanglement, Nanette enlists the help of theatrical producer Bill Trainor, who promptly falls in love with her. The same thing happens when artist Tom Gillespie is called on for help. But soon Uncle Jimmy's flirtations become too numerous, and Nanette's romances with Tom and Bill run into trouble. Will Uncle Jimmy's marriage survive, and will Nanette find happiness with Tom, Bill, or somebody else?

"TEA For Two, " I love this music. I love this show. No matter who does it ! Seconded, always loved Eve Arden. Aye, Aye...❤So, many famous character actors. Just, I want to be happy! Not Doris Day, but the music holds everything together...Still a wonderful film. An aside, New York was a cultured city back then. Now, it is just a "backwater" for New Jersey...

肖像画が素晴らしく見えるのは,画家のお蔭か,それともモデルのお蔭か。The portrait looks so wonderful. Is it thanks to the painter, or thanks to the model? Now I got it "neither" , but "the charm drawn by each other" Isn't it right? I am grateful to this film for that truth. Thanks.

Nagel was miscast. Rita Hayworth ought to have played Nanette, much younger looking, better dancer and singer, unless another voice was dubbed for hers, and that too was out of character for Nagel, who is clearly forcing herself to olay the juvenile.
