Man-Thing is arriving in Spotlight Caches this week, along with a really cool new vintage comic variant. If you're getting him for the first time, or just looking to show off your beautiful Man-Thing, this might be the deck for you!

Power Estimate: This deck has really solid data on Untapped.gg, currently ranking as the highest win rate and cube rate deck with Man-Thing. I also had a fantastic run with it, landing at 82% through my first hour of games. It's somewhat susceptible to the increased prevalence of Mobius, but still has tons of answers to all kinds of meta decks.

Your Man Thing is a little hard to pilot, but if you play around with it long enough you get the hang of it. It can start off slow but it’s capable of some explosive endings

First try with this deck, someone's playing the same thing. They played their cage early, so I enchantress it on the last turn and he ends up toxic-ing himself. And this is how I hit infinite, so that's cool.

You are a legend! Was struggling to hit infinite this season, then I tried this. No one is expecting it right now, it deals with low cost hope summers and thanos decks really well. My run with this deck in Galactic was almost identical to yours! I went 8-1 and +33 cubes (disclaimer: x3 eight cube wins against bots). Disregarding bots it still felt solid against real players. On paper it doesn't look very strong, but it just somehow works when you play it. I used Polaris instead of Gladiator cos she combos with Man-Thing and I really don't understand why Gladiator is in this deck (zero synergy with any cards as far as I can see).

I don't struggle to much against Loki as of right now. Oddly enough the cards that beat me the most is Hela and SPIDER PIG. Dude spider pig has beaten my over %80 of the time its played against me. Its alarming how bad my luck is against 🕷🐷

His on reveal triggers before Elsa. It might be that Elsa looks to see if he’s still filling the lane, not if he did.

I wanted 2 cards this week. Man Thing and Ghost Spider. I didn't give a crap about Mockingbird and I thought "Well if I hit the random card, I'll at least get something I don't have". I had 2 keys. Mockingbird and the Random. And it was a card I already had so I got a measly 1000 tokens. The week of Proxima, I had 3 keys and hit everything but her. I swear this fucking game knows what I want and prevents me from getting it.

Would man-thing even be that broken if it didn't affect your own cards? Everyone is just throwing 4's out on turn three with zabu anyway and it keeps the man-thing user from playing too many three's and below if they want

Loki can honestly be one of the most infuriating cards to lose to. Even in this current state where it's not super over tuned. It's still just like, "oh silly me, why did I waste all game playing cards each turn when I could have just done it all at once?"and then even when you beat Loki, you're so tense and annoyed bc you're imagining they generated all your best cards. It's such a dice roll. The Loki player either gets to spend all game doing Collector shenanigans and then play every card you've played all game in a single turn, or they just don't get there bc they didn't roll right. Horrible card design imo. Or, horrible concept/practice maybe, bc I guess the current design is fair. But it just seems like one player always feels shorted/cheated when Loki drops, and that's just not good for the game imo 🤷‍♀️
