What would be an ideal card to replace Werewolf in this deck?

As someone who doesnt play marvel snap or really understand whats going on, but enjoys the Regis content, is there a good like, quick guide to the basic structures of the game?

If you want an easier to play version go with the non beast/rogue version and play agent 13/armor/coulsen version, this is lamby’s deck which is much harder to pilot than the classic loki

I started Snap because of this channel. Looked like fun, had a great time, hit infinite. Then it was just Loki decks. So many Loki decks. I stopped playing-the card isn’t fun and playing against it isn’t fun. If there was a toggle to not pair against Loki decks, I’d reinstall, but for now… a fun $10 diversion for a few hours. A real shame that I had more fun in the climb to infinite than any point afterwards.

They should really try to make a change that kills Loki (like removing his disscounts) and see how it fares. Adding 1 cost to him and removing wave was a net 0 for the deck. That way if he is unplayable the meta would move a little and they can work to make him playable again from there instead of trying to make him just good from him being broken. Making him a -1 power or something like may also work? It did for negative at least.

Playing since mobile launch, still didn't get a chance to own Galactus and Loki bc I didn't like the way it play and decided to buy other cards, I really don't know about Loki, it like you play your own deck and then you don't but I get the effectiveness bc most of the deck always having their own counter cards and if the random form Loki get you that card the combo will be ruin or your own combo will be better than the opponents.

I really need to get Snowguard. It's too crucial in this deck and I don't think there's a good replacement.

The nerf with Loki is to lock the effect On Reveal just if you have 3 cards or less in your hand when he is played (3 in hand+Loki on field)in this case, could limit the options that can steal and discount the card, also add depth to the gameplan

In my limited experience, it seems like -all- PvP metas eventually boil down to “the less my opponent gets to play, the higher chance I have of winning.” I hate it. It’s an extremely effective strategy, because getting people to stop playing altogether still fulfills that goal, but man do I hate it.

This is probably the most powerful deck in the game but not the best one for climb. Collector and Werewolf add power to the board too early and makes bots retreat. Lockdown can win way more 4/8 cube games.

Lockdown is a necessary evil. It puts people in check that want to play these huge turn 6 plays and that don't play a card until turn 4, which I've seen a lot of actually. Winning the entire game and then losing because of those big turn 5 and 6 drops, sucks just as much as not being able to play those big turn 5 and 6 drops. There has to be some kind of balance. That threat needs to be there, if you are tired of losing to Alioth, tech cosmo in and play it where you feel like they will play Alioth, or add in enchantress and see if you can guess where their Prof X is going. idk, the Meta does feel weird at the moment, but I don't think Lockdown is the issue and I don't think Alioth nerfs will fix much without completely killing the card, and you can't keep just killing cards because people spent resources on the cards and are playing the cards they used the resources on. Maybe you change the Alioth ability to only kill the last card played or make it a 6/-1 or something like that so you lose power if you do play it. I don't know the answer to balance the game, while still feeling like both sides win in some way. Guess we will see if something happens today or not

Ever seen Loki steal an Agatha?

I've played marvel snap for a long time but never did I feel so boring about the meta than now. Lockdown, junks, lokis are just too rampant in high infinite. I tried lockdown decks, it sure makes you win but the playline is monotone and super boring, lame and quit playing with several games. Also I enjoyed loki a lot in August/September but after playing a while it suddenly became super boring against mirror match. Junks with annihilus yeah I enjoyed like 48hrs and that's it. I really hate the current meta so monotonic, I'm currently playing discards/black knight/hela archetypes which I like a lot. Hope the meta will shift and not everyone will play the non personality decks.

Hopefully this video is the final time we see Loki in this state. Absolutely gutting all the enjoyment from this game right now.

I don’t think playing Loki is easy. The deck has some good engines, but the trick is not to be greedy and decide what’s going to be your winning engine for that game. And converting your hand into opponent’s cards takes some timing. You don’t want to maybe turn that Shang-Chi or Rogue that you might need in the last turn… And the T2 Collector T4 Loki with 7 cards in hand is not so common.

I think if they make Loki not trigger collector it fixes it while still letting Loki feel like the god of mischief

playing just "good card" lockdown sucks and is boring and despite unlocking him recently in spotlights I still hate Loki and think he is a net negative for the game in his current state. also if he's a 4/5 that gives you a hand full of discounted cards so anywhere from -3 to -6 energy that stays the whole game mind you so if Loki goes off early(gladiator, Sakaar, ect) we are right back to pre-nerf issues. can we add they are -1 energy till the end of your next turn? or can my girl Sera get a buff? at least put her back to 5 power? I dunno locations are making non-games and Loki means you have to play mirror matches where their cards are cheaper Meta is tired and lame despite having a few fun cards added to the game recently. Overall not a solid direction to be moving.

Yep I despise loki and am so disgusted they even reverted collector for the 4 mana 'nerf'. Haven't touched conquest at all but playing it the last few days before it ends to get the psylocke skin and every other game is some scumlord playing Loki, or Loki with Werewolf... I couldn't be more uninterested in even playing the game against this uninteractive garbage. If they don't nerf this shit before their holiday month where they go on hiatus they're really fucking up big time. Loki needs to lose mana cheat to require Quinjet, or quinjet needs to not work with him. How is an entire hand full of double discounted cards fair but having to draw infinity stones randomly from your deck and get quinjet for that old synergy not?

I cannot stomach alioth and professor x, they are such tilting cards to have to play around. I don't think it's fun to be punished for queueing up for some snap. Hopefully with this new season, either one or both of those cards are going to be nerfed or reworked. It is not fair that Alioth can destroy cards that haven't revealed yet. People who play those decks don't deserve to win.
