Personally I LOVE only spending my birthday with all my family. This is mainly because my birthday is in the summer and tbh it’s more than I could ever ask for because it so memorable and it’s with people that I will always know.

that’s so sad how people make fun of kids with disabilities when it’s not their fault. and i have 2 friends with down syndrome and they are both so sweet and funny. hopefully no one makes fun of people who have that

You know that is so sweet that his mom decided to do that for him. That is so cool I mean it’s so hard to be with no friends and being all alone it’s really hard you know my mom did a lot for me when I was growing up as well, so yeah, you need somebody to be there for you so kudos on that Mom for trying to make it better for her own son that had a disability

With someone who has a brother with Down-syndrome this made me cry but I’m happy that he’s my brother and he dose have friends that do like him and I really liked this video cuz some people need to understand that just cuz there different or have special needs doesn’t make you any smarter any better then them this video was the best I really liked it 😌

I honestly have never been allowed to do parties either. I just had a celebration at home or at a restaurant. Once I even had a family reunion party but i think that was an excuse to get my parents friends over.

2:49 its because you handed out your invitations the day before. you need to hand them out like at least two weeks before to give people warning. they probably had plans. or maybe they just wanted to sleep. 10am is quite early

I got to say, don’t you dare go inviting people last minute and expecting them to show up. You gotta give at least 24 hours to have at least one person show up. And then instead of saying 10 AM, start the party at noon. Like Lia said, most people are still in bed or doing their morning routine at this hour.

Some people in the world can be just as lonely in life like you. All they need is an invitation and a welcome to your life to be part of it. Many people in the world wants to have someone in their life and many are willing, we just havent met them yet and thankfully the internet is being used now to help us find each other.

Awe. :/ As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned it’s better to celebrate alone. If people remember, yay that’s cool. But alone is reliable & we should learn to celebrate ourselves without the need for validation. Throwing a legit house party sometimes can be great, but you’re there to celebrate yourself.

Once I invited like 10 people to my birthday, (my birthday is around Christmas, so I understand people not being able to come) but the only people that came was my sister and one of my friends. We’re still friends, and by far she is one of my closest friends still

people that have Down syndrome are so BRIGHT. You have no idea. I mean Bright Smart, it amazes me sometimes hanging with them. I learn more from someone with Down syndrome, then I do anyone else. That story got me so emotional. But thank you snipperwolf people need to know this.

Sssniperwolf is right, you shouldn’t give out the invitation just a day before your birthday. It’s best to give out the invitations 4-7 days before your birthday. People will probably already have plans for tomorrow if you gave out invitations just a day before.

It hurts seeing this problems, as a person who got bullied for loving "childish" things like fidget toys cause i always use them. I dont get bullied anymore but get weird looks. They always said " Your too old for these things" and it really hurts. I feel nobody need to get bullied for loving things
