People forget that Purdy came off an elbow injury last year!! He literally wasn't ready until 2-3 weeks before the season. This guys first full season he made the Super Bowl!! While coming back from people saying that he can't come back. Just know he has more fire power than before. Good luck to everyone one this season!

@@hoodiekenneth3825 The biggest difference is that Burrow tore his ACL early on that season and had a full year to recover, while Purdy was injured in the NFCCG and returned in the same calendar year!! The fact that this was an injury to his throwing arm also can't be overlooked.

Pearsall’s route running ability will compliment Brock Purdy’s skill in anticipating throws. I haven’t heard many say it, but I expect the 49ers to come out in a lot more bunche 3-4 WR formations this year when they’re facing man defense.

I agree with some people that Brock Purdy may be the second best quarterback in the league and I do think he will be better next year now, a full camp behind him there's no way they're gonna be able to outsmart him with their defenses as long that offensive line holds up he'll terrorize the league especially with the talent he has around him

Yeah I think Malik Mustapha is going to be great. Hes an exceptional tackler who plays violent. He seeks the football. He is really good against the run. Blitzs well, hes disciplined (hasnt gotten penalty in forever) hes fast. Watching his film he has a burst of speed that was really fast, its easy to see. I think with Malik, Jaiyir Brown, Taylor Hawkins and Hufanga. We have some talent there. Jaiyir is better than people think.

Pearsall is a perfect fit for Kyle's offense. So is BA. Having essentially two #1 will make it extremely productive. Both offensive linemen are very athletic, move well, play with goo technique, etc. Perfect fits for zone blocking. The safety Malik is a DAWG and so is Green. Guerendo will be crazy in Kyle's offense.

Believe me, this hurts to acknowledge this being a huge fan since 1983. The roster is the most talented and deepest in the NFL and there's always going to be doubt with Shanahan at the helm.

I genuinely hope they get better and win SB. Here's my concerns: OL 2023 = OL 2024, one of poorest pass blocker OLs in 23. Purdy was pounded all sesson and blitzed 9 times unblocked in SB. HE MUST BE PROTECTED AND KEPT OFF IR FOR THIS ALL TO WORK. NFL will be gunning for Purdy in 2024.

People are complaining about Kyle Shanahan's coaching but it was the defense that really led them down in that Super Bowl as well as their defense in the first Super Bowl against Kansas and Garoppolo not being not very accurate. Maybe you got a point there some of you that he doesn't run the ball when he should that would probably be his main Flaw

Kyle shanascam literally threw the ball 3 straight series after halftime instead of establishing the run and got nothing from it. Play calling was atrocious. Definitely Kyle fault. He did the same thing in 2019

Assuming everyone is healthy for another year, we will be in the playoffs again. Addressing the offensive line and corner in the draft was a good idea. Only 2 major issues remain. A) Run defense. We lost Armstead, and we don't know when we will get Greenlaw back. It was bad in the 2nd half of last year and looks like it will be bad again. B) Coach KS running the ball with a lead needs to happen. He cannot keep making the bad choice not to run in the playoffs or Superbowl again.

Shanny needs to decide how hes going to call end of game situations. is it the 80s style he learned under? grind clock? run when they know its coming? or is it going to be the new aged style, go for it, do things differently. Right now it feels like hes doing both, and thats not going to work, pick one or the other and he would have at least 2 superbowls by now

Which I find fascinating, because that Vikings game a few years ago with Jimmy, where he threw like 9 times, and we ran for like 250 yards, one would think he would want to keep doing that to win big games, but it seems he has become interesting in being more unpredictable and cute.

Pearsall and Cowing are elite route runners and are not coverable one on one, which is going to force teams to double team or play zone, which is going to open up opportunities for the 49ers very fast running game. I predict an additional 7-10 points on average per game over last season for an average of 35-38 points per game.

I believe Kyle wanted his own Nacua, nasty route runner with great hands and tough, got Pearsall ✅ He wanted to steal MIAs "cheat" play where Hill gets a running start. Tried it with Deebo, he just didnt have the elite acceleration Hill has. So he drafted Cowing, the best acceleration in the draft class, breaks 13mph within 5yds ✅

The only thing bad is the special teams side. I don’t wanna say moody is bad or anything but he coasted a game in Cleveland which he missed a 41 yard kick which EVERY SINGLE KICKER SHOULD EASILY MAKE. He missed quite a couple of kicks but he’s a rookie so you know….. ye A H…. And OFC we can’t forget about the offensive line which cost San Francisco a Super Bowl and with a good offensive line they could have went 17-0. Add a better kicker and then really they would’ve been 17-0

As a 49ers fan, you are crazy claimin the defense will be better. The secondary has probably improved a bit, depending almost entirely on how Renardo Green performs. He's a man cover corner and not great when in zone. They're trying to fit him into the slot with Lenoir outside, per their statements. That's not ideal. The d-line is much worse without Armstead and Collins/YTG/Leonard Floyd are not going to come anywhere close to filling the hole left by him. None of them compare to the pressure that Armstead generated.

It doesn’t matter who the niners added to their team .. as long as kyle is making stupid calls especially if they do make it again to superbowl it’ll be the same result. Three freaking superbowls he wasted by not running the ball.. all three looks similarly the same with same results..

Your dumb, Kyle is very young and still growing as a coach! He has done nothing but turn this team into a power house. All you cry babies wine about how kyle isn't perfect. Stop it already and enjoy having every season a real chance at getting another championship.

I appreciate the optimism, but they haven't been losing SB's because of personnel. They lose because Kyle chokes in big games. I seriously doubt we will ever get another ring with Kyle as HC. Kyle is a real problem. He is good enough to get us to the playoffs regularly and keep us "relevant" (makes money for ownership...), but he can't win the big one. Tough to fire a coach like that.

Philly fans said the same about Andy Reid... Kyle only just now has a legitimate QB, and last year had a DC that really got away from what they did well and made some very questionable decisions. Kyle is an excellent coach, and there's not a better offensive mind in the game. 49ers couldn't get anyone better either way. Also, it isn't their fault that his staff and front office continues to get obliterated every year. It's extremely difficult to continue to grow and have alot of continuity when you have to change your staff and decision-makers every year.

You do know the only coach that has stopped him in these super bowls is another coach who "couldn't win the big one" for 20 + years right? Is Andy Reid a problem too? Philly let him go and now look, he's finally winning the big ones cause he has a hall of fame qb. Other than Reid , it's hard to argue any other coaches in the whole nfl are better than Kyle after what he's done with this team being in nfc championships and or super bowls as much as he has. Sounds a lot like Andy Reids career before he got Mahomes.

@@calidad5524 Andy Reid's eagles were pretty darn stacked I'd say. So were his chiefs and couldn't win til he got mahomes. He barely beat the niners in OT with a great defense , a great team too and a hall of fame qb that's gonna be talked about as being a top 5 qb of all time when all is said and done. 🤷. I'm not dogging Purdy at all, I like him and thinks he's gonna be pretty darn good but he's no Mahomes right now. Not even close. If the niners had Mahomes they would've embarrassed Reid and his chiefs
