Terastalizing your pokemon just so it dies anyway is the biggest flex in this generation. It's like saying "I'm 4 parallel universes ahead of you, i won't even need a Tera to win".

I will die on the hill that I firmly believe scovillain should have a third branch evolution with one being centered around the red head, and the other evolution being centered around the green.

Scovillain DO look like a mid stage evolution indeed! When i first saw it i thought to myself that it will evolve into 3 headed beast but the pokedex didn't reflect that, ending it's evolution. That was quite dissapointing but i do expect this mon to evolve in the future.

I love scovillain! After setting up sun with something like torkoal, growth becomes a terrifying setup move, and then max speed + chlorophyll turns him into a scary sweeper!

I can't finish a rom hack since I suck at the programming, but in mine I had a 2 stage Anteater that was Grass/Fire. The two bug pokemon at the start were ants; depending on gender they became Bug/Fighting or Bug/Fire. Anyway, so the first stage of the Anteater was a pure Grass type, and its favorite food was the Bug/Fire ants. This explains why the final form (that looks like a Giant Anteater from South America) is Grass/Fire.

Scovillain is defined as being for double battles more than for singles. Its signature move can boost sweepers to SCARY heights within a single turn, and it gets several good support moves.

Niche idea is to (in doubles) use a sun team with support scovillain. Use spicy extract and swords dance or similar on a physical attacker with a white herb (or is it a feather) for a super increase in attack

Can't wait to see a Leavanny video. Easily my favorite early route bug. Certainly not the best one, but still did a lot of work in my first BW and BW2 runs.

Scovillan should have an ability that can cause burn on contact and or a chance to flinch on contact if target is already burned: Spicy Touch.

A very simple buff that would mean a lot to scovillain is making its attacking stats more specialized. Take 15 points off p.atk and add it to sp.atk, or vice versa. A fire type that has its speed doubled on top of its fire stab boosted under the sun is already a great concept

I've found that in VGC it's just too frail to take advantage of its great supportive movepool and ability. But i do love using Spicy Extract on a mon with Clear Body

I had a fire/grass type deck as a kid that I built around blaziken EX, both forms of Shaymin, and either torterra or another grass pokemon. It was awesome

Last year, I used a Tera Rock Chlorophyll Life orb Scovillain on the singles ladder with Solar beam, Flamethrower, tera blast and will o wisp. Got me all the way to master but it wasnt easy. If the meta wasnt so fast and strong, Scovillain would be insane. But It became hard setting up sun with Flutter Mane every where lol

They definitely made paldea realizing they were running out of 2 stage pokemon that could evolve in the future because Bombirdier, Spidops, and Scovillain are all mons that can get new evos in the future

You use it on a dedicated special attacker and you're cruising

Scovillain is both bad and extremely broken at the exact same time, and that entirely has to do with its hidden ability, Moody, which is the same ability that made Bidoof a menace in Ubers back in gen 5

I use it! I can OHKO most targets w Spicy Extract and a followed up Foul Play from Ninetales! I can usually nab a few KOs this way or use Growth and hit them W sunny Overheat or a Grassy Glide. My boy is a mixed attacker that goes hard, quick! Omg the Mirror Herb though! Nice play!

I build the most dirty and sick strategy ever with this spicy poke . Ok First we going to have a max speed Scoville with non hidden ability and with the move spice extra with the items eject pack and we pair with and urshifu with mirror herb and protection. So on the team we need to have a poke with priskter ability and the move tailwind and an item that allows survivewith1 hp. For this point I think that an average poke competition trainers know were I go with this doble battle team set
