I think context is important here, Levi said that when the Female Titan was chasing them and Eren had to make a choice whether to stop and fight or keep running with Levi's crew. Both choices there at the time seemed valid, but that's not the case in _every_ situation. Sometimes there are choices that clearly are right or wrong.

@@yashingawale7217 Well most people know there Japanese voices This is about the English voices and see how good the Dub versions are too There are some animes where the English dub was way better then the Japanese one The reason am saying it its simple : I love Japanese voice acting but they always sound like they are screaming or they are anrgy and its difficult to tell some times With the English one you can feel the raw *emotion* the *anger* the *effort* and everything they do Take Castlevania for example , Dracula's voice is crazy !!!! Or AOT where Erwin's speech in English !!! Its things like that , that in Japanese you can't feel

Exactly my thoughts. Once he made his mind he never regret or think about it again. He kept his cool and made difficult decisions while taking shit from people. I hate his death as he was a great leader and soldier.

I love Levi’s view in this clip. Usually, you see an anime protagonist become so idealistic that they believe taking a life automatically turns them into some sort of evil monster. This isn’t bad in the slightest, but Levi’s view doesn’t undermine this viewpoint but shows a different side. It’s like he doesn’t want to kill, or have blood on his hands, but when push comes to shove he knows what he has to do, even if he doesn’t like it. This is why Levi is amongst one of my favorite characters in anime, such as Itachi Uchiha or Ken Kaneki. Of course, these characters aren’t the same, but their ideals are somewhat similar.

Levi saying this only makes him going against Eren and trying to kill him all the more incoherent. What the hell happened with the whole "If you hesitate your comrades will end up dead"? If Eren had hesitated, everyone on the island would've died. And since when does he care about the lives of strangers? It wouldn't be so absurd if we at least had some insight into his train of thought aside from "I want to kill Zeke, that's all i care about right now".
