Harvest Golden Melon in 80 days
Golden melon aka Canary melon are the easiest among all the melon varieties I ever grown. Is relatively very short period, just 80 days from seeds to harvest!
For the fertilizer.
1) 1 tablespoon of Yara Kristalon Red NPK 12:12:36+TE into 100mls water. This become the stock fertilizer A
2) 1 tablespoon of Yara Calcinit( Calcium Nitrate) into 100mls water. This become stock fertilizer B
3) Dilute equal part of A and B fertilizer and use EC meter to measure the strength
4)Start with EC1.5 after repot. Every week , increase the EC 0.3 until reach EC3.2 and maintain until harvest.
5) If you don't have liquid fertilizer, use the normal fertilizers granules with low N , high P and K will do as well.

Nice video Can you explain Soil type you have taken for honey melon.and also what you have added in the middle and pH? That will be more helpful for us

As long as the soil have good drainage will do and soil pH is around 6 to 6.5

My golden melon has been suffering from cracked stems and gummy stem blight maybe be due to the lack of calcium or uneven watering (I put it outdoor and exposed to rain) or both. Glad I found your video, and realized that you put equal parts of kristalon & calcinit!! That speaks a volume about the importance of calcium. Did you grow the melons indoor and protected with insect nets? How big is your pot? The leaves look healthy without insect bits or powdery mildew. Mine was attacked by Aulacophora femoralis and powdery mildew. I also bought Baba VE-054 seeds, and the seedlings are about 7 days old now, will try to add calcinit this round.

Hi Mr Tony ,I have question about the Atemoya seeds that planted 3 years ago. Do they produce fruits? Pls. Response, because some people say that,It will not produce fruits,Some people said that most likely that it will come back for being Sugar apple. And the fruit will be sugar apple fruit. Pls update your Atemoya fruit tree from seeds. Thank you.

Yes it fruited the second year. I have since move to the ground....I think I got upload one shorts video showing the fruits. Yes , is true, it very closely resembles the sugar apples....I am trying to observe if the plant grows bigger and mature , will the size match the original fruits.
