You are so right on about the batteries now. Just cause the battery can start it, doesn't mean it can manage the systems. Good video man.

Battery level so important now a days! That Sebring I bought awhile back had multiple issues that all stemmed from a bad battery.

Nice to know I fixed this problem before I got there because I bought my 200 and a month later I got the update recall and I took it In and not even a month after that my battery gave up on me but I didn’t have any proxy issues

Same thing just happened with my 2015 200. Changed the starter, battery went dead, jump started it and its stuck in neautral. Car starts right up now just stuck in neautral. Called mechanic shops near me and they have no idea what this is. I wish i had that speacial scan tool. I have to tow it to the dealer so they can charge an arm and a leg for this! But thanks for the video and its good to know my car wasnt the only car going through this!

Question. So I’m having similar issues. Mine won’t go into park. Goes into every other gear fine and when I go to shut the car off in neutral is automatically goes to park when car is off. As soon as I turn the car back on it goes to neutral again in park and it’s starting to shift hard. Is this a proxy unsync?

Aloha JT, man, I ❤ your videos,brah! I now have two Jeeps due to an accident which I t-boned last year by a 25 year old girl who was way late in running a red light, no license, no registration, no good reason to be behind the wheel of any vehicle. Plus I had a cop right behind me that witness the whole thing and he used his SUV to block her jeep and she crashed into that too while trying to get rid of her fleas too! So I end up buying a used white 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited, 3.2 L V6, great looking, fully loaded but everything but the toilet is electronic. First thing I had problems with was the tranny, which I captured like 8 codes with my scanning tools and almost all of them are battery related. The battery was only 2 years old. Reason why? Because Chrysler Jeep uses the cheapest POS terminal battery cables that have a tendency to come loose and fall apart while driving. So I had a couple goals with this Jeep, replace the battery with a new one, wire up my Ham radios, add LED Light Bar, add a 12 VOLTS LEAD ACID BATTERY DESULFATOR Revival Rejuvenating Battery Life Extender and a 15 watt solar panel in the rear side window. The only part I had to buy was the 12v battery at O’Reilly’s for $217 because Sam’s Club only had a Duracell (These batteries SUCK!)AGM battery for $247 +tax & $22 core fee, which I traded in a dead soldier so I can keep & reprogram the old 2 year battery with my BatteryMINDer 2012 Pulse/Desulf Charger to use for something Ham radio related. The most important part on this Jeep is the battery, the battery and the battery. I have a emergency roadside go box kit with jumper cables and a few tools. So I added a 10mm box wrench and two of these small 100 watt cardboard thin solar panels that I have wired up with Anderson PowerPole connectors just like on my Ham radios, LED Light Bar, emergency LED dash flashing /stroke light bar to put on top of the dash pocket. The first sign of trouble, I went to the NHTSA website and even with all these miles, my jeep was on the recall list to get the tranny reprogrammed and splash the updates. Plus I discovered that this Jeep is a ticker also. So I’m going to spend the $670 to rebuild the top end with a new cam shaft kit w/ lifters/rockers, new spark plugs, and oil pan gasket. That should give me about 150k more miles or until I trade it in within the next 2-3 years since I live on a island and don’t put on very much miles each month. This Jeep looks in mint condition but I may mount a brush guard on the front and maybe a trailer hitch in the back to add a HF antenna. Still thinking…🤔 To your point, JT, the battery and charging system is nothing you want to pokey around with, “get er done”asap. 😅

Moms old 08 PT Cruiser she willed to us sat in the driveway so long after we got it the battery went so dead even my 200 amp cart jump box wouldn't turn it over, it just buzzed and clicked. The posts were also loose and the positive one is missing one of the copper straps. I put the battery I saved from my Neon that is fairly new and it was dead too but it was taking a charge. I let it cook for half a hour and it charged up and started. I put the old battery on the box and after a while it seemed to actually take a charge so sat it in my old van not connected to check later. The PT started today without help so thinking the Neon battery is ok. Got lucky, no lights and everything works again. Might have to look at pulling that fuse you mentioned if sister doesn't start driving it again if it has it. It was clicking so bad at first I thought the starter was bad because most cars will crank right up when I put that cart on them.

Love your video Sir! Very well done! I have a 2015 200s that has the 3.6 engine and the 9 speed transmission, only 34,000 miles. We were getting clunky 4-5 gear shift when driving at 30-35 mph. This would happen when you let up on the gas and quickly hit the gas during urban driving. We took the car to my Chrysler Dealership and had the PCM and TCM flashed and a "quick learn performed. They did not do a PROXY alignment which they indicated was not necessary. The car still does it occasionally but not as severe. Should I insist on the PROXY alignment?

Hi, i have a 2015 Chrysler 200. My car makes click noise but won’t turn on. However radio, and dash and everything is on. To turn it on I have to disconnect and reconnect the battery connection and it turns on like nothing. Mileage is blinking. Don’t know what is it! Might a proxy alignment help?

I have this problem now and i found that i had a bad battery connections to where the terminals came off. Do i have to get it the pcm and tcm modules updated with a new battery and cables? Or can i just replace a new battery with new terminal connections and it will fix the problem?

As a professional technician I must humbly ask for your help in knowing what scan tool you are using. That is capable of doing a flash update and monitor proximity alignment. That is clearly dealership level of technology. Because I have a X431+ pro V and it’s not capable of doing that as well I’ve not seen any snap on tool that is capable of that or Aurelio Maxis that can do that now. I’m getting into newer vehicles and I would really like to learn more about this. Because there is always something new to learn so staying humble is rewarding. Would you please be so kind as to give me this knowledge to help me in my journey cause I really want to learn.

I bought a Chrysler 200, 2015 and i parked the card for 3 months and travelled and now i am having trouble even starting the car, automatic gears functioning are 1, 2 and 3 only and gear shifter cant get into L, what could be causing all of these issues. Nice video, I may have the same problem with the 2021 Ram 1500, the red light for neutral is on all the time and the truck not shifting at all. The shifter does switch to all P-R-N-D but I don't see the bottom shifting gears linkage moving or sometimes when starting the car I see the linkage moves a little less than a quarter of an inch. I checked the neutral override and reset everything nothing works. Whatever I did the red neutral light stays on. If you tell me please what you think

Witech is only way to do this. I know Autel and Snap don't have the option. And you used with witech. So you left out the most important info. A lot of KZfaqrs seem to do this. Just enough info to get someone in trouble😂

Hello, just curious what scanner tool do you use which is able to perform a proxi alignment?

Some dealerships don’t even know proxi alignment. I just took my Jeep Renegade to Jeep dealership and they don’t even know what is P15000 fault code. I used Autel MaxiAP200 I even showed them the fault code because battery failed🪫.

Here’s my issues: 1. My car would not open even with the emergency key, open the door by force 2. Car wouldn’t turn on 3. Car turned on, but A.C and Radio no longer worked 4. Car wouldn’t turn off at all 5. Car wont move, tried putting it in Drive and reverse but wont move 6. We changed the battery but nothing, still the same issues 7. Car wont turn off unless you physically disconnect it from the battery 8. Car wont turn on 9. Car is completely locked

PLEASE COMMENT BACK…I have a Chrysler 200 and when I be driving it will cut off on me and EVERYTHING will lock up to where I can only put it in park. If I was to cut it back on after it cut off sometimes it will cut back on sometimes it will make this noise and everything will light up but everything would still be locked ( gas pedal, brake, shift gears ). Please tell me you know what the problem is…I already spent 675 trying to get the problem fixed and it’s still happening.

I'm working on a 2017 200. When I turn it off and shut the door the dash never shuts off. It continues to stay lit saying to press the brake and the start button, which drains the battery. What is the cause of this? Can you explain what conditions need to be met in order for it to fully power down?

just a question, when you were pushing the start button, was it allowing you to turn the ignition off completely? i have this same issue with the shifter but i have to tap the button with the key repeatedly for the ignition to shut off otherwise i have to disconnect the battery. i just picked the car up 2 days ago and it’s stuck in my driveway with this issue, please help lol
