OMG you're in Cres ❤ I've spent lots of summer vacations there as part of my family was of Cresan descent. I miss the sea, the smell of juniper and sage, and the sage honey we would buy each year ❤ EDIT: and you've been to Bukaletaaaaa aaaaah I am so envious right now, the food is awesome!! 😋😋😋

Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, USA has some of Ivan Mestrovic sculptures. I was there last month and remembered his name from your videos and was so excited to see his name on the plaques and to have heard of him before. It made it even more special to me.

Mestrovic is one of the most significant sculptors in the world in 20th century, his most known work in the us are those two big native hrosemen in chicago il. In croatia many of his works have an epic status, but most people first associate him with the well of life in front of the national theatre or with the statue of gregory of nin.

Maybe winter is not the best time, but would love to see a visit to Žumberak. Not much going on, but some pretty mountains and close to zagreb.
