No Tourists! More People Should Visit This Vietnam City: DONG HOI, Phong Nha Travel

Too bad many visitors visit only Phong Nha and most visitors skip over Dong Hoi. I wondered why? So I asked a taxi driver to show us his home city for two days and these are all the food he had me eat and places he thought were unique to the Quang Binh area.

Dong Hoi is a wonderful part of Vietnam! Many of my wife’s Aunts and cousins live here, as my wife is originally from Le Thuy! The city of Dong Hoi is growing beautifully and as you said, the people are wonderful!

Highly recommend visit “suoi nuoc Mooc” at Quang Binh ! It’s a beautiful place you shouldn't miss.

That was one beautiful overlooked places in VN. I agree it was sad to see the trash on such a beautiful beach but much of it was probably brought it on the tide.

Yo, Kyle! It turns out that the outside world knows more about Đồng Hới now. Just in the last year, I've seen far more English language videos on the place. Nonetheless, it's high on the list of places in Vietnam I want to check out.

I loved that area! I stayed at Phong Nha farmstay ( that carbonara and salad was crazy good) and it was truly one of my favorite places in vietnam. They had many options of what you could do in the area.

Seems like Dong Hoi is poor and has a lot of trash on the beach. That’s why no tourists go there. If the beach is already dirty without the tourists. Imagine what’s it’s like with all the tourists.

You are Viet. Kieu- and you are in Vietnam. You are not a Philippino/Filippino, Kyle Le. Call Vietnamese foods by each's individual proper Vietnamese name (i.e. For fertilized eggs: Vit. Lon./Duck, Ga- Lon./Chicken, Cuc' Lon./Quail. While you are there, have you use your status to speak with well-known Vietnamese Vloggers & celebrities about keeping Vietnam clean of garbage off of the public places to promote good health, cleanliness and more tourism to the economy? You can bring positivity to each negativity (i.e. Land & water -- rivers, ocean/beaches -- pollutions of man produced garbage & plastics) and urge people to keep our native homeland to proudly grow and to be respected internationally. You can communicate/ talk/discuss clean environments to every individual Vietnamese who you meet on your adventures in Vietnam. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
