Some suggestions for your kayak adventures: 1. Have a knife handy, like on a belt. If go overboard and get tangled in a weighted rope, a knife is the only thing that will help you. 2. Wear a lifejacket! You are alone, the water is deep. If you are knocked out somehow, this will keep you above water. 3. Might want a raft to tie on to the kayak that you can put items in so you aren't adding weight or unevenly weighting the kayak. If you run into trouble, you can cut it free with your knife! Be safe and enjoy the float!

That was probably a tail-light to a boat trailer. That snapped rope was possibly a boat anchor. Love your contagious good mood today as well !! 👍

You should secure all your finds in a bag or something then attach it to the kayak so if you do flip over you don't lose everything. 🌸💗🌸

Isn't it scary pulling up a rope? You never know what creepy thing may be on the end. I absolutely love that you kayaked that area. Go back in and go closer to that building. Nice tail light.

@3:40 THAT my friend is a cable clamp, well half of it anyway, when you make a Loop in steel cable you use that and a u-bolt to secure the Loop in the cable

3:45, a cable clamp. A "U" shaped round piece goes into it with threads on it. Two bolts go onto the end of it to clamp down on a cable to hold it from slipping. Usually used for guy wire!!!

10:00 Sprockets-assembly to the rear chain-derailleur of a multi-speed bike 10:10 That's the upper portion of the same derailleur --- it both swivels around to take up the slack in the chain, and pivots from side-to-side to move the chain onto the different gears :D

If you are worried about tipping if you latch something heavy, you can buy floaties (stabilizing buoys). They make them for Kayaks but they also popular for SUP Yoga which should also fit a kayak.

1:50 It might indeed be a "headlight", in that many old emergency-type vehicles (i.e., firetrucks, ambulances, police cars, etc.) had red torpedo-lights like that on their front fenders/bumpers/grilles, and/or mounted forward-facing on their roofs. :D

First and foremost, congratulations to Michael! Secondly, You sure found a bunch of car parts. I saw a piston rod, that disc was definitely a clutch, and I think you might have pulled up a sway bar link as well. Keep up the great content dude. That tail light came off a 1938 Mazda tr8. I used to have 3 of them. Completely restored one and parted out the other....I just made all of that up. I'm sorry

I've been trying to find a small johnboat for awhile. Watching you magnet fish off a kayak only convinces me more that's the type of craft I need to do both fishing and magnet fishing off of.
