This is such an innovative recipe - In Tamilnadu, broken yellow moong dal payasam (kheer) is made on very auspicious occasions/important poojas/vraths. Same recipe - but moong dal is cooked in cooker with a spoon of chana dal (monotony breaker) and mashed and added to boiled thick milk and jaggery water and coarsely ground coconut then seasoned with elaichi and ghee-fried cashews. Usually a lot of payasam would be left over after an elaborate festive lunch and people lose interest to consume it in the evening. This icecream is so innovative and interesting to try!

Namaskaar Sunita ji. I msgd you that I have something BEAUTIFUL for you. Aap humari millets ki duniya join kar lijiye. Dr Khadarvali, "Millet Man of India", says stop consuming milk n milk products, and within 6 months the patients would be able to reverse their chronic ailments. I mean you start with 5 Positive Millets recipes without dairy products. Hospitals will not shut down; they treat people for various ailments which have nothing to do with milk... They are not running on milk... Moreover, unless someone is lactose intolerant, no one is "frequently" visiting hospital because they consume milk... The problem with everyone who wants to promote any particular food/ lifestyle is that they exaggerate everything, the truth of which people know from their everyday experience....
