Do you have any favorite songs off the new album? Kahan: Yeah, a song called “Carlos’ Song.” It’s a song for a friend of mine who died, whom I loved and I kind of lost touch with before he died. I really struggled with grieving his death for a long time, and I wrote that song. It embodies everything I feel, and it really - I think - beautifully captures his memory. I’m really excited for people to hear that song; I think that’s probably my favorite song on the record.

I want him to see my achievements, even the small ones. I want him to see me get accepted into university, to be happy and free and dance with our friends. I wish he could see all of it and know that everything would have been alright and that we loved him. I like to think that everytime I sent a grin to the sky, he can see it. HE’s the reason I put every certificate or award I get towards the sky, to show him. I like to think he can see it.

My friend, Jaidyn, was 23 when she passed away from multiple heart attacks in one day, she went brain dead from it, she was 8months pregnant with her 2nd son, Grayson. She was 18months clean from cocaine and opioids. I was 5months pregnant with my 2nd child, my daughter, who is healthy and loving, and nearly 3yrs old now. This song.... hits me right in my soul. Thank you, Noah.

11/aug/2020 My friend died due to blood cancer , it took me a month to realize , and another month of suffering , and till now I keep remembering her , I try to show people that I'm fine , but still I'm not , I'm still counting days , I'm now older than her while she used to be older than me , I'm still here hopeless , and she has gone away , I used to listen to this song and never cry , but now whenever I listen to it I cry 2020 was a hard year yet I changed alot .. hope for a better future , hope that she is doing well now ❤️

I feel like this was written for my big brother his name was Carlos he was my best friend my protector he died last September of an overdose and this song is everything I wanted to say to him love you big brother

This song just guts me. My brother killed himself many years ago, and this song hits that broken place in my heart. Noah’s songs are so deeply personal. This one gets me every time. I hope that Noah gets all the things. He is amazing.

I was gonna review on google but it wasn't working so here's my copy and pasted google review: Absolutely amazing. Noah Kahan isn't capable of writing a song i don't absolutely fall in love with. All of his songs are very meaningful and if you're a lyrics type of person like me, his music is really great. But if you're someone who prefers a good beat, guess what? Noah has that too! His new album Busyhead is SO SO good. I don't have words to describe it. I've been listening to his music for almost a year now and i've never been disappointed or let down once. Not one single time have i thought to myself, "huh, i don't really like this song by Noah Kahan." I'm so shocked that he hasn't made his big break yet and been recognized as the phenomenal artist he is. That day will surely come soon though. Noah if you're somehow reading this, which i highly doubt, thank you for always putting your all into your music and inspiring all who listen to it and also, please come to Utah someday because i would buy tickets for sure. In conclusion if you didn't want to read all that i just put: This album is amazing, and yes "I did find everything i was looking for."

Last year, I left the city that I have lived all my life, after a messy heartbreak. And as someone who just graduated from college, moving out felt like starting afresh. It was a new beginning for me. I remember this song popping out of spotify recommendation while I was in the bus to the new city One year later, I'm playing this song over again while asking myself the same question "Did you find what you are looking for? " it is as though nothing has changed. I moved to this new city hoping the noise drowns out the regret, the regret from all the money I lost trading crypto in 2021, but then 2022 which was supposed to be a new beginning ended up becoming worse. One year later, I haven't had a proper girlfriend. It is as though something about me was broken, and no matter how much I try to run away from it, it keeps on getting worse.
