I played a summer season ('23) with Premier 3s. My experiences: - They seem to run a quarter or half-size narrow. Going true-to-size with the Premier 3 turned the toenail on my big toe blue. - The soleplate is thin. Not responsive. This being a boot going for a 20th century style, fit, and feel, I suppose that's to be expected. - Playing on AG, the studs wore down quickly. It's apparent the boot uses lower density material for the soleplate. This is typical of 20th century boots. - The velcro on the tongue doesn't work well enough. To keep the tongue down during play, I had to use rubber bands. - The budget-grade K-leather was soft out of the box, but started to harden from playing on wet AG. It needed routine reconditioning with leather food. Again, this is normal with 20th century boots. I mention it because the higher grade leather on the similarly priced New Balance 442 Pro does not need as much reconditioning. - The leather toebox on mine molded some, but never really stretched. This surprised me.

You have such a great and strong talking point about the neutrality and safety of soleplates and stud patterns. Majority of ppl are not pro and play on AG so that needs to be the forefront. Conical studs and and a solid plate just feel so exceptionally better and have longer term benefits. Nice to hear someone put that out there!

I’ve never said this, but I absolutely love the playtest videos, they are so unique because they incorporate a blend of classic training as well as this kind of podcast audio. Keep them coming legend…

The Reason why I preferred the Premier III over the New Balance 442 is that the New Balance 442 was too wide around the midfood section. It wasnt even the wide edition and I dont have narrow feet at all but there was a space at the inside of my middle-feet which wasnt comfortable. The Premier III was straight away a top fitting boot which I am playing right now from time to time. The slippage is a problem but it is easily solved with grip socks. Overall, I was aiming for a k-leather boot but now I got stuck to the Mizuno Alpha Elite which are awesome and completely changed my mind on synthetic boots.

Old colourways with K leather are still available, but it's hard to tell when they made the switch exactly.

i bought these recently and at first i did not like them. I cross shopped them with Copa gloros but hated the heel center of the copa also finding the toungue slightly uncomfortable. I tried the premier 3 right after and instantly felt the difference in terms of touch feel, part of me loves and hates these cleats. After playing them a couple times they have definitely formed better and i definitely recommend conditioning these often it really improves the feel and stretch of the leather. I think you are spot on with the sole plate their really is no responsiveness when running or sprinting its a pretty neutral or flat running feel, but it is definitely consistent all around. I think this was Nikes way of cutting the price down while making sure they were not better than the tiempo 10s in terms of stability. I paid roughly 90$ and to say i still have doubts about the purchase because their were a large amount of cleats that went on sale shortly after (for example predator accuracy .1, speed portal .1, puma ultimate Neymar jr, copa pure 2.1, and the new balance 442 team which is cheaper than the premier and is calf skin instead of kanagroo leather (would love for a review on those🙏). I have not tried the new tiempo but had come from tiempo 7 calfskin cleats and sadly cannot get Copa mundials where i am from as i am a big fan of copas (not the gloro tho). Safe to say these are way better than my tiempo 7s they feel way softer way more connected in terms of touch but were slightly more expensive at the time of purchase. To say the least your reviews are really spot on definitely recommend people watch your reviews before buying probably one of the best reviewers for cleats especially with your play tests!!

Such a shame Nike is getting rid of all their leather. Nike cleats have always fit me the best and Tiempos are my go-to model. Just bought a pair of Tiempo 5s on eBay, but once these are gone I’m going to have to switch brands.

Noah, I appreciate every playtest that you do. Do you still plan to playtest the Ultrezza? Your review video suggested you might have had to reorder the size. I'm thinking about getting a pair, but first I'd prefer to hear your playtest input.

I did some changes to the boots. I did cut of the stitching on the nike swoosh on the inner side of the boot to gain a better feeling for the ball! But still the premier 2 were way better than the 3s

I have used the phantom gt2 elite and the gx1 elite from the phantom row as my last two models. And was a big fan. As I play on gras and turf as a striker I was wondering if it was worth swithing to the premiers as they are a little bit more neutral than the gx2. What model out of those would you prefer to use?

Hey Noah, how do the Adidas 11pro Kroos remakes compare to these in terms of overall performance/lockdown & leather quality? I know some people think the 11pro remakes were underwhelming but are they at least clearly better than a basic premier 3? Cheers

i know you may want to wear mazuno or new balance over nike but... they're nike and they look awesome ill take the slightly worse boot if i have a few extra style points with my mates

Is the sole plate separating from the upper? These are the last ones I’m going to try. In between them and a couple of mizunos wide models I tried out. Just wondering how these would last compared to the mizunos.

You would not believe it, Noa, but I could not play in then on AG surfaces. Even made a video about it. Came to me as an absolute shock. Maybe I did myself a disservice cause I play in adler yatagarasu and mizuno morelia neo 3 pro AG when it comes to artificial grass. After wearing those, wearing Nike Premier 3 on AG was killing my joints. Different story on short FG grass. Did you feel any discomfort on AG in then or it is just me ?

I've tried the Premier 3 and it does not fit those with super wide fit. I wore a size 7.5UK on Copa Mundial and can't even fit the Premier 3 on 8.5UK.

Really comprehensive playtest I feel. Unfortunately for me, I feel that the Premier is far too flimsy for my liking. Good video.
