This is a really good talk. Chomsky is always great but this one is particularly interesting. By now, neoliberal doctrine has been accepted as a law of nature. Something that always has been and always will be. The trend towards inequality and climate disaster is devastatingly clear. Also towards the end Chomsky mentions the prediction of a 1930s style depression.

If there is a Third World War, it's a quiet one (with horrible elements) mostly to do with social disintegration. The ties that bind human relationships are shredded apart. We are taught from birth to be rational self-maximizers, forgetting all others in the quest to become as narcissistic gods. Like Prof. Chomsky said near the beginning of the lecture, we are not dealing with theory. This is about real suffering, violence, misery, humiliation and isolation. We have nobody but ourselves to blame.

It feels like I'm looking back in time. Even before 9/11. None of the people in Noam's audience know how their world will change in the next twenty years.

Greenspan kept his onw grade card. Given that everything depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is, he could, with "honesty," report that he had passed with flying colors.

When demand goes up, price goes up and the concept of economy of scale, as does the laws of physics in its sphere, goes into a sort of suspended animation.

I couldn’t see where’s cooperating with forces and troops in adjusting the belief to be able to make us in security. These situations occurred occasionally when the force was the Winning, since we were afraid of living then we are apart in grouping of our attitudes amongst us as we were in differences together always. With arms force at Vietnam wars and nuclear weapons at Japan, how’ve was that took us struggling and longed suffering. More than that on Sanctions and no compromise with trade wars .We couldn’t dig the past but we should go together again with newer visionary’s to be the one’s. Please advise me, how’s USA president have never learned until today? 🙏🏻. How’s no sleep with out of date Policy? Please.

28k views. Dude's talking about lawlessness of our rulers and barely anybody gives a fuck. Talk to people on the streets and that's about right. It's like talking about death to them. Even if they would acknowledge it's going on, they expect you to fuck off or at least change the subject.
