If you go to a concert in Japan, It would be like this. People listen to the music, the artist and leave ovation for when the performance is over because they believe making noise when the artist is performing is disrespectful towards the artist.

There is a mix of people. The concert is available for anyone to attend. The ticket price is the same as for a regular concert with any touring artist. However people dress up for this as it's a special event, where the artists and the people that are there is honoring the receipent of the price. Members of the Royal family is also present as is the primeminister and other members of the government. It is not a regular concert.

if there's an orchestra I agree that you shouldn't be making noise in the middle of the song. it's extremely disrespectful and personally annoying. I love that the audience respected that ;)

sometimes it is necessary to have an active audience. Many artists cheer up their performance because of their audience. There are times in which if the audience seems underexcited, then the artist will just be unmotivated. I think you can see that if you watch full performances of bands, the least popular songs are usually the ones with the least action and passion. Regardless, this ocasion wasn't inappropriate obviously because there is an orchestra. This whole comment was referring to regular performances.

I'm a bit late, i guess, but she always sounds like this. if for any reason she was nervous is because she performed live in front of of the whole world. With billions of ppl watching the Peace Prize Concert, which very few and selected artists are invited to do.

Infact, in some places in India, if a woman loses her husband, she is forced to have a shaved head so that men think she's ugly. It was an old practice not now but yeah people still think women look beautiful in long hair and Halsey definitely proves it wrong :) 💖💕💙

I love that she did this for the Noble Peace Prize. The song be interpretted that despite the man's background and struggles, he still finds a way to create something good (blue). It can also be that she's describing the lives of the people that need help. There lives are blue.

everytime i listen to something that beautiful i get sentimental... i mean how can you not when you are facing something that is so complete and so wonderful?! this is as good as it gets folks, music in its finest form... i wish i could hold the feeling that i had when i heard it the first time and never feel something else again... it would be enough for the rest of my life

The thing is, I didn’t have a lot of friends. Cause I was just, so different, mentally & emotionally. I connected w/ people outside my age, idk if it’s the sense of maturity or whatever, probly that over-emotional personality). Definly no one to cry with. (Just wanted someone to cry with) No one to get me through, and then I became so dependent on music. And then Chvrches became a part of me. (Only cry in front of you). -That’s why this is my life anthem too.

I know exactly how you feel. You're not alone. And I'm a male. makes it even harder to admit you need someone to cry on. This performance was a revelation to me, though. I had never heard of her before, but this song and the orchestra is one of the most beautiful performances I've ever heard.

Scientists today dont understand that we are the science. They have forgotten the beuty of reality and the beuty of what that is and the dance inbetween.
