A&Z #1101 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus The BUF Prestwick's and Big Dibby's Undefeated "Big Dirty Cow" Scottish Burger Challenge hosted by Big Dibby's Kitchen at The BUF Prestwick in Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 2-week Northern Ireland Tour, ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I spent 3 weeks exploring most of the major cities and areas around Scotland. During our travels, I attempted 12 Scottish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #4, we headed to The BUF Prestwick located in Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland so I could attempt Big Dibby's Undefeated "Big Dirty Cow" Scottish Burger Challenge which had remained undefeated and in fact, nobody had previously been able to even finish half!! It was a great honor to have chef "Big Dibby" try his own challenge with me, in front of a large much appreciated crowd of Scottish locals who watch our videos!! Big Dibby and I each had just 30 minutes to feast on the "Big Dirty Cow" Burger which featured five 6oz Scottish beef hamburger patties stacked and layered with cheese, ladles of beefy chilli con carne, fried onion rings, and healthy vegetables. The challenge also included 10 "Not So Jumbo" Chicken Wings, a bowl of creamy Scottish coleslaw, 8 fried chicken tempura, and a giant portion of loaded chilli beef and cheese chips / fries. Along with all that food, we each had to enjoy a pint of Scotland's Tennent's Lager beer. Big Dibby was not expecting to finish, and was mostly trying to see how much he could finish. I was hoping to become the first champion to win and earn my £50 burger meal free, a sweet t-shirt, a spot on The BUF's Wall of Fame, and £50 cash to put towards travel expenses. BIG thanks to Kevin (The BUF's owner), Big Dibby, and everyone with The BUF Prestwick for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! The BUF's and Big Dibby's "Big Dirty Cow" Scottish Burger Challenge in Prestwick, Scotland (£50):
- Big Dibby's Kitchen has been serving food in collaboration at The BUF Prestwick for a while now.
- Big Dibby's Kitchen and The BUF started this burger challenge a few months prior to Katina and I arriving into Scotland, and it remained undefeated. Nobody had been able to even get halfway!!
- The "Big Dirty Cow" Burger has five 6oz Scottish beef hamburger patties, stacked and layered with cheese slices, hand-dipped & fried onion rings, ladles of beefy chilli con carne, and healthy vegetables on a normal-sized bun held together by lots of wooden skewers.
- The challenge includes 10 Buffalo & Dry Rub (5x each) "Not So Jumbo" Chicken Wings, 8 fried Chicken Tempura, a bowl of Scottish creamy coleslaw, and a giant portion of chilli beef chips / fries. Along with all that, we each had to finish a tall Scottish pint of delicious Tennent's Lager beer.
- There is a 30 minute time limit to finish everything. Winners receive the £50 meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, a spot on The BUF's Wall of Fame, and £50 to use for travel expenses.
