@@LudietHistoria I was aware of Khalka but might I ask what the other options are for Tibet's hordes? You mentioned that you specifically needed an alliance with Oirat for Koshuud, say I allied Chagatai or Mongolia, would I get different formable hordes?

You actually did the right thing not upgrading the CoT, it only upgrades to lvl 2, no a flat +1, so if you had spent the ducats it'd have been a waste

Don't forget to take Aristrocratic Ideas before forming one of the hordes so that you can get that extra cav combat ability for insane horse boys

if you do it right, you can get 95% cavalry combat ability

I prefer Khalka, I like their map colour more, also this is a tip if you want to form Khalka you should start as Limbuwan, form Nepal for some of greateast ideas in game and then culture shift to tibetan

I've noticed that the AI is a lot more aggressive in this patch. I was playing as Burgundy and it genuinely felt like I was getting passed around by my allies, with Austria calling me into their Veetian war, and then calling me again into their Cilli war *immediately after* (Both offensive wars), only for me to try and rest up to fight a war for myself and get called into a Castillian war against Naples. I decided to reload from an autosave and instead got called into the Pope's war against a Provence with no manpower or troops or allies, before having to break my alliance with Morroco because Castille decided to attack them instead. Kind of wild.

I recently started watching ur vids and I love them! I use ur vids as inspiration for campaigns I do in ck3 (I don't have eu4 atm) I'm thinking i can do something similar to this in ck3 starting as a turkic/Mongolic nation and using the nomadic migration cb (from the mod governments +) to migrate to the chiefdom of kham and going from there conquering Tibet

If I remember correctly, this nation was a khanate where Eastern Horsemans attack Tibet and rule them until the Qing dynasty vassalize Tibet.

Basically the Dalai Lama, leader of Gelug school, one of the many sects of Vajrayana Buddhism, struck a deal with Gushi Khan, founder of Khoshut Khanate. Dalai Lama proclaimed Gushi Khan to be Genghis Khan(or was it Kublai Khan?) reincarnated, thus giving him legitimacy to his khanate and his rule and in return, Gushi Khan recognized Dalai Lama as basically top guy of Buddhism and waged a war against other Tibetan princedoms, both to expand Khoshut khanate and to suppress other sects of Vajrayana Buddhism, thus cementing political and spiritual power of Dalai Lama over Tibet. Khoshut Khanate was eventually conquered by Dzungar Khanate in 1717, only for Dzungar Khanate to have Tibet conquered from them by Qing dynasty in 1720.

In regards to the centre of trade level up. Some of the missions will check if they already are level 2 and will then give you something else. I know that a Mutapa mission which would normally level up to level 2 gives you 50 diplo mana if it already is level 2.

Talking about ming tribitariat status. You don't have to worry about coalition and rebels while being one. In my experience they like to unsiege your provinces and killing your rebels but this may he different in 1.33 as i didn't play yet in asia.

Eu4 using teutonic form poland and then try way to form tibet but keep the poland ideas, in this case using the events become horde which has poland ideas and western unit.

Khoshuut was destroyed by dzungar irrc. But ultimately it's people still survive in xinjiang to this day, whole dzungar was annihilated by qing. Wiped out entirely.

About that center of trade, dunno if it's going to work. In my last run as Hungary I did th mission to increase level of monument in Budapest after I upgraded it. Didn't work at all. Stayed at level 1

It would be a waste to use one of your Lv3 centers of trade in Lhasa node, which is probably one of the worst trade nodes in the game. Since you can only have so many Lv3 centers of trade, depending on your merchant situation.

I do actually enjoy helping out my AI allies on occasion. While expanding rapidly and getting to be the big powerhouse of the world is fun and all, there's a merit to roleplaying a bit. After all, it's the journey, not the destination right? In any case I had recently considered messing around in the Tibet region, so it's cool to see there's already a handy guide up~

I adore the fun of this region but only once you conquer the Tibetan plateau, this region is torture to fight in early game and drains your nation quickly of both manpower and money. On the plus side, it makes it extremely difficult for the AI to fight you here when you scorch earth and play defensively.
