The SPa Chaos is just a 3d render. The creator, Spyros Panopoulos, is a dragster veteran that has beaten some world records with a tuned 3000+ hp Evo. He claims it will be the first ultracar, and will be entirely made in Greece. Many people believe in him, but many others are sceptic because building an engine and building a car from scratch is a completely different thing. There's a huge amount of controversy about the topic among greek car enthusiasts.

As a greek I believe him. He is financially able to do such a project and he posts continious updates of the car on social media which proves that he is constantly working on it. On top of that he has done multiple interviews regarding the car and also top gear will also review it once the first car is built this year

Getting a dragster engine to output 3000 HP and getting a production engine to do 3000 HP are also completely different things. Dragsters aren't expected to last more than 1,000 miles or get more than 10mpg. I'm sure he can make a 3000 HP engine, but the production version will not be tuned to make 3000.

I remember the days when production cars were reaching close to 1000 HP. I remember it well. When Hennessey was starting to make their ridiculously insane 1000 HP Dodge Vipers back in the early to mid 2000 range.

The thing I find incredible is that the golf GTI makes 250hp. That’s already more than enough to do any normal driving bloody fast right. The devil 16 makes 20 times that. Will you even be able to tickle the throttle between corners. Flipping awesome

At that point, car might really make enough force while accelerating for driver to pass out. I'm pretty sure that it generates 2Gs and is probably really difficult to drive due to that. And braking probably feels more like hitting a wall. What's more crazy is that tires don't just pop from all that centrifugal force. And you don't even need 5000 hp for thoughts like that, 1500 hp is enough for that.

I always thought that the Pininfarina Battista is based on the chassis of the Rimac Nevara. That means, same battery, same motors, same suspension, same everything except than what you can actually see.

a 4 cylinder 2 liter engine = all four pistons and the block they inhabit COMBINED have a total of 2 litres of air. This means if you drive a 2 liter, your engine has the same displacement as a 2 liter of soda. This also means if you drive a 6 cylinder 2 liter ( if this exists) than the 6 pistons COMBINED have a total of 2 liters, however those same 6 pistons occupy the same amount of air as the 2 liter 4 cylinder. This also means the pistons are smaller because 2 liters divided by 4 cylinders is 0.50 But 2 liters divided by 6 is 0.333 This was just an example, many v6s have higher displacement than i4s and v8s are typically higher in displacement than v6s and so on, but there are always exceptions. Then there is forced induction via turbo or super charger which compresses air , but its a whole other discussion. TLDR; liters is a measurement of air being taken in, compressed, ignited, exhausted in the engine, more air means mo powa baby.

Everyone has a different taste in cars and likes other things, respect that, because it's probably one of the most important things to have to claim yourself to be a 'real' car guy.

Yeah agree. But given what type of model youre driving, it depends. For example, a Lamborghini huracan. A 250k car which is a supercar. Exotic and cool looking shape and design. But.... they're everywhere. Influencers and youtubers make this car look like a normal car. Its not that cool anymore. Supercars and hypercars are meant to be rare and expensive

I'd have the same amount of driving skill that a new supercar driver would have, no doubt I'm spinning that thing the moment I put my foot down, but I can't help but notice how all of the "cheap" supercars are often owned by people who actually go racing in them (alla di all the R8's at the track, or the 458's, etc.), while you never see anyone seriously consider a Bugatti as a track car.

@@kelly2631 It's quite hard to spin out a supercar in the average application. They tend to make them idiot proof. This is why every idiot with poor power is more likely to crash it. You don't see anyone tracking Bugatti's because they aren't track cars. Every Senna and P1 owner I know spends more time on the track than the street, and they track them because they're track cars. Bugatti makes the pinnacle of GT cars and people drive them as such. Koenigsegg and Pagani owners do tend to track their cars but much like the Senna and P1 owners, they do it at private events of similar value cars. The reason being they aren't comfortable tracking with significantly slower cars, with drivers who have not a care in the world if they rub elbows in their $15k car.

Thankfully fun isn’t limited by money. Love too I guess. Rather have a 1970 Mach 1 than many cars... the Audi R8 is pretty sweet.. all wheel drive.. yeah..but then I’d even take a freaking used but good condition diesel V10 VW Touareg for ski trips and towing. 7,700 towing cap is pretty sweet. Interior is luxury too. It’s the simple things. Wouldn’t take a supercar into the mountains and park it in a public lot.

James may have mixed up the jesko and the jesko absolut. The one with a ton of downforce is the jesko, but the jesko absolut is the one that does 330mph (which they never have because they couldn't find a long enough road). The jesko absolut has much less downforce in favor of high speed stability and low drag.

as good as this list was, there are a few mistakes: chiron ss can’t go 300, it’s limited nevera and battista are the same car underneath, so it wasn’t actually rimac trying to outdo pininfarina jesko absolut hasn’t actually been made yet

Whatever power to weight ratio the 488 GTB has is what I think is the limit for "reasonable" amount of power. Anything over that is excessive imo. (For a road car that you actually intend to drive that is, track cars can go as hard as they want)
