This is great! Thank you. Are you still liking and planning to continue with this next year? I don’t know if you have boys or girls but The Cupcake Diaries are great, and the Picture Bible or Action Bible are awesome comic-style! There’s also a good Lego brick comic-style version of the Bible (get the one by ONeill for more age-appropriate content than The Brick Testament).

If your kids like The Magic Treehouse they made the first 4 books into graphic novels. My 6.5 and 5 year old love them.

Do you think the Lab Manual is necessary? could it be replaced with notebooking?

Not at all! The instructors guide has the question and answer in it, so you could completely give the question orally for discussion, notebooking, or just do your own thing ☺️
