Another great video! Day 87. Sometimes my brain tries to trick me into peeking again. Telling me that one peek won’t hurt. It’s videos like this that remind me how terrible porn is for our system - and to never go back there again!

Yes! I've noticed music is one of the only escapes I have from the semiconstant cravings! Began process of Detox on Feb 20th 2024. Currently on my fifth run since starting the process. While run lengths are getting longer, they're also getting harder. This fifth one is off to a shaky 2nd/3rd week

I've been going through less fluency of speech ever since I started nofap. I can guarantee its due to low dopamine as after a relapse I would notice fluency will return (due to the high dopamine levels still lingering), then very shortly after i become the least articulate person in every room I'm in. In my long streaks (~100 days) I've noticed some phases where I dominate every conversation, there were brief moments however. I'm trying again currently almost 2 weeks in, for that phase to become permeant.

very interesting!! I am, after a relapse, with less fluent speech and confidence. I see that with more and more days with nofap I could be more masculine and determined, even my voice could sound a little low! But we are not the same, we have differences as individuals!! Dont give up stay stick to the nofap program!!
@freza62414 ай бұрын
@@mikeonly8554 yeah everyone is different I guess. With me things like concentration, energy productivity is enhanced quite early on whilst others it happens later down the line. Specifically fluency in speech is something that takes a very long time for me, I still haven't experienced consistent fluency for more than a week. Regarding post relapse, I only regain fluency for like 1-2 days max, its the dopamine that still lingers in my brain after frying it for hours.

I have had and still experience all of the symptoms mentioned just now. Pray for me brothers. Pray that God [YaHuWaH] helps me regain self-discipline and get my life back on track. Pray that I do not lose my hope or desire for a better life. Pray that I begin to see results and want to chase that change. We are brothers in this fight. Shalom

This example, even extreme (full blocked receptors) is very relevant! Some symptoms I recognize it , not too much like the example but it is enough! Yet another way to see what porn addiction worst symptoms could damage us!! PS: I think most of us (I mean the long time addictive struggling) doesnt realize the whole image because we endure it and become more or less numb. Its like a sick person who go with that disease for long time and endure it :( ! Second, there is the fact that other people around us (mainly other men) dont behave very happy or `oh my life is so good`, being not positive always etc, their faces and attitude did not show a good will or something very different to us; other ppl around us could be not satisfied in their lives also, with their work, wife, family, etc. Obviously the age stages is quite relevant: ppl over 30, 40, 50 did not have a positive attitude and happy for life the same as their young age like 15, 18, 20 -29 years old. And maybe their sexual life/activity is not too much, its healthy being married with a wife at home but in real life women are not too willing to have sex the same like us, especially women with child-children. Dont misunderstood me! Having a relationship with a woman is the ideal way of life opossed to being lonely. Loneliness is a killer. We have to be very strong and with good discipline! We must have offsprings!!

As for someone who’s been forced on antipsychotics over the last few years, both first generation and second generation whilst trying to break free from a p0*n addiction, let me tell you, what this bloke experienced would of been a cake walk in comparison, especially those first generation antipsychotics. Nasty Nasty stuff, I wouldn’t give that stuff to my worst enemy, complete torture and misery

@Scandinavian Bob - I would love to hear Your input / insight on Mucura Pruriens supplement, also known as L-Dopa, which is natural dopamine precursor 🤔
@ScandinavianBob4 ай бұрын
I've tried it a number of times. It seems to give me a bit of higher anxiety levels. It does increase dopamine though, but I would be careful about using it every day. If I would use it (which I don't) I'd take it in cycles to be on the safe side. You know, on / off periods...

It's been 7 months since I started nofap and I still have no libido.. does internet and games set me back? or is it because of MO every 10 days.. Im 100% sure that It's PIED
@ScandinavianBob4 ай бұрын
Even though MO isn't bad for us, you could for example do an experiment with doing for example 60 days no MO to see if that helps. I have seen guys having results like that. Then once your libido is back, you can slowly reintroduce MO again if you want to. The key thing with long reboots is that we have to be willing to experiment, it's like we are our own researchers. Of course, you should look at all the other things in your life as well, as general health etc. but I would assume you already know that....
