That was a slap to Kreese's face after he replaced Hawk with Robby in season 3. Kreese hyped up Hawk to be Cobra Kai's new champion, but once Robby joined, he practically tossed Hawk aside.

3:10 it’s like Hawk knew Robby would try and catch his leg and possibly attack it again the way Johnny did to Daniel in the first movie. So he kicked there as bait and when Robby caught the leg, Hawk pulled Robby down by the arm and kicked him straight after impacting the ground after the whiplash left Robby open. Robby is the better fighter, but Eli deserved that win. After everything that happened he managed to stay on the good side. Plus it was a lesson for Robby, it showed him that aggression isn't the answer. I'm glad this fight happened, it truly represented that even if you're naturally better than your opponent, you should always stay focused to win.

This a match when Hawk and Robby fought in this match with honor. Hawk defeats Robby in the final round and wins the boys' competition in the tournament. Hawk's wings were broken and later mended in time and flew.

I think Robby is the most talented fighter in the series. 1st all valley he lost cuz of the dirty injury. This one he lost because he lost his resolve. That said, had Hawk fought the way he did from the beginning it wouldn't have even gone into sudden death. At this point I think Hawk was the better fighter due to understanding the 2 techniques the best.

The end of Hawks redemption arc. Even though Hawk realised the error of his ways at the end of season 3, he still had to suffer some repercussions for his actions in season 2 and 3. Hawk was let into Miyagi Fang, but not with open arms, had to earn everyone’s trust again. Then he got his signature Mohawk cut off, and he lost his confidence. And with the help of binary brother Dimitri, a kiss from former girlfriend Moon, Hawk realised he’s not defined by his hair, made quick work of longtime nemesis Kyler, then won the call valley against Robby.

I don't like how they kept Johnny aside in order to highlight Daniel although Johnny Lawrence is the one who created Hawk and Johnny was always greater than Daniel, he even defeated LaRusso in the tournament finals (1984) fair and square but they never mentioned it. Edit: But I like how Kreese still cares for his best student Johnny and his son Robby and even Johnny's best student Miguel.

Firstly, how did Johnny beat Daniel - last time I checked, Daniel won 3-2, and Johnny even acknowledged it back then. Secondly, it's great that Kreese still cares for Johnny. Just a real shame he was such a piece of sh*t about the whole affair....

@@DEAN_23 Go and see the karate kid final fight again after both had 2-2 score and before johnny attacked daniel leg, there's a point when johnny had a punch hit on daniel face direct, and within mat and within 3 minutes and anything above legs is legal but they ignored that punch and said "Whoever wins the next point will be our new champion" even though ref said "no point, block" but it wasn't blocked, you can see this on your own.
