It's ten o'clock and our dear private investigator is i a almost relaxing state of mind, he is working on a big murder case and he needs of this smoothy jazz music ambience to get out his best skills as a Private investigator. Good luck Mr investigator!!

The rain fell outside, obscuring the filth of the city in a glossy shine. Ice shifted and moved in the whisky, a glass I could've sworn I just poured, the low level of it telling me otherwise. It was a big case. Some out of town dame found dead on a millionaires doorstep. A real pain in the ass. Sleep called to me from the comfort of a dark bedroom, yet the case called louder. I refilled the glass. It was going to be a long night.

It's 8pm on a friday night home alone again. The winter wind is trespassing every room in my home and I'm preoccupied with a glass of jameson on the rocks, only $32.99 for the bottle and it was worth every penny. It's been raining all day so there's an excuse for the time spent here. It's been weeks since the "New Year" began and I'm still coping with the illusion of the poor disguise the phrase wears. What's so new about it? It should just be called, "Another Year". At least than it'd be an honest holiday. That's enough typing for tonight I really should be looking for the end of my glass instead of words to write.

0:11 Tough day, kid? Yeah i know those days, i have had one too many of those that i grew accustomed to it. Its not a good habit to pick up but when days seem long, slow, and dull, we need something to look foward to. good rest is all we need. Maybe a meal and a shower. Hell, a fine dame on lap wouldnt be so bad to take the tireness and stress away. Me? This bottle of bourbon and half a pack of smokes will do. Do not let me stop you from resting and relaxing. Maybe i can offer some words of encouragement or support. We are always at battle with emotions and feelings that swirl into our minds. If you are having a good day, then i hope it turns into a great day. if not, then just for a moment leave all your problems, stress and worries for a few minutes. Let the jazz soothe aches, let the saxophone serenade the pain. Wherever the pain may come from. **raises glass** here is to you for being alive, for not giving up, and to that tired soul that keeps marching on.

Kudos for seeing to it that his clock on the wall keeps time over the course of the video. I love details like that. Seen too many ambience videos of sunny sea shores where the same cloud formation sits still in the sky as time passes, and shadows don't move. :)

The dinner party was in full swing, of course, it was rather strange that the Bakers were hosting a dinner party since they were usually uptight about maintaining precision with the weather. I tried to relax myself as I sighed and leaned back against my chair, as I delved into an imaginary world of mellow tunes to tune out my life That was, until the waiter called out to me and smiled a bright boyish smile, which no doubt, would make any woman swoon. "Champagne madame?" 'He has a French accent' I thought as I politely declined his offer and asked for tea instead. As I took my first sip and felt the warm blend and concoction of milk and the fresh tea leaves glide down my throat, I couldn't help but think 'Darjeeling tea...' Mr. Baker and I locked our gaze after a few moments, he raised his glass of apple cider as his lips tugged into that soft yet devilish smirk, which was enchanting to be honest. I widen my eyes for a moment as a blush slowly creeps to my cheeks, I glance at Mrs. Baker, cackling away at something one of her parlor friends just said.i look back at Mr. Baker to see him staring at me intently as I try to avoid his gaze. 'He can't know what I've done to his son...' as I looked out the window and glanced at the rain slowly pattering against the glass and sighed to myself. 'This is going to be a long night....'

Here is a bijou noir story of mine. The legend of 'The Golden Assassin' is known to make the citizens of Westminster tremble with shivers down their spine. No sooner the hour and the minute arms of the big ben struck midnight, every fortnight, a death occurred in town. The accused coined himself 'the golden assassin', for he only took to murdering the big shots in town. One day, on the fourteenth of May, eighteen-eighty four, an esteemed professor of Physics named Oxford Brigham was found dead at home. Upon the corpse's head was a card that read, "Dear reader, Know your place, or you shall fall. Yours revengefully, The Golden Assassin." The local police were perplexed and irked by the continual deaths that made the town quiver. The Westminster police could think of no one, but Mr Lincoln Scarborough, a venerated tax collector by profession and a detective by passion. The officer in charge of this case was the narcissistic Mr Dalton Blackwood, who handed the case over to Lincoln Scarborough. He said with a smirk, 'The gold shall dwindle to lead.' The governor (Dalton Blackwood) was chuffed. A fortnight passed, and not a wee bit of information from Scarborough reached Blackwood. At his office, Dalton heard hurried footsteps from below. He began to get cold feet and armed himself with a revolver. The more the footsteps got closer, the eerier the environment got. He began to perceive that his shadow deceived him, too. At the doorstep, to Dalton's delight, it was Lincoln who hurried to the office. Panting heavily, he questioned, 'Dalton, what sentence do you speak to your subordinates when you are piqued?' 'Know your place, or you shall fall.' 'Bloody hell! You are the golden assassin's next target! Peek at that pendulum of yours.' 'How could you be certain, Lincoln?' 'Have you ever seen me fail any case? It's only fifteen minutes till midnight!' The big ben struck twelve, and Dalton began perspiring while facing the shut door. 'This day, in god, I lay my life...' 'Silence, Dalton!' Lincoln intervened to silence Dalton Blackwood. Bangs from the door were finally audible to Dalton. He called out, 'Lincoln, open the door.' Not a single sound did he hear. He turned around, and, to his dismay, Lincoln Scarborough seemed to be absconding from the scene. _You know who the golden assassin was, congratulations._

She had bell bottoms and a snub nose. I gave her a ring, but not on the phone. After last spring she left me alone. When we were kids wed drink out of the hose. Once we used to be so close. Now all i have of her is this sending of prose. And an old picture of her taking a pose faded out in post. Shes dead now, you see. I had wished theyd of buried me. Along with the file. I peek in the cabinets every once in a while. To see if theres a new hit. Just gotta keep out the mit. Trails gone cold.. But for me, the case aint closed...

Another ambient video, "This one's it." You tell yourself as the music envelopes your lonesome surroundings, "Totally me." With each passing note you play your keyboard like a modern day Mozart, thinking "Notice me!" As the depressing melancholy of the perfectly fitting track continues. Another comment... Another born again philosopher spawned by the comforting sounds of good music. You could of just admired it, kept the moment for yourself, but you can't, no... You couldn't. "Totally me." As you throw another poor tale into the sea of mediocrity.

Nice pseudo noir but not historically correct. Film noir was 1940s and 50s and the soundtrack should be 50s cool jazz .. This music is too modern current to give off a historical noir effect. Sadly most current Gen Zs would know the difference. I saw another one saying Sherlock Holmes ambience (which should be Victorian era 1880s and they actually had 1950s photography in it. In my opinion the trick to getting the very best ambience is historical consideration. I have seen some amazing ones though on KZfaq that get the visuals and the music/sound effects right to the period. But this one misses the mark for me.
