Noise Pipe Delete MK5 GTI / HOW TO

Since there aren't a lot of videos on KZfaq about the infamous noise pipe delete on the mk5 gti/gli I decided to show how I did it.
SORRY for the loud noise in the background my camera picked it up a lot even though in person it wasn't as loud,

Just ordered the delete cap from link u posted also I have 3" dp cat less an cold air ....did you do this with out a tune ? No check engine light are anything?

Hey man how’s it going ?? So I had the question the hole that’s left open on the firewall , is that safe to have it running like that ? Or would I need to block it off ?? Like it won’t cause any huge leaks ??

I did it recently just to see any difference and I really dont recommend do this change. Because of the car sounds like any other car tahts nothing, the rich sound before has gone, and really you cant notice a very fast response.

what give's you deleting of noise pipe?

Its just deleting a noise pipe where the boost would end, instead of ending at the noise pipe, it will end at the actual throttle so less travel time for the boost= the quicker the boost will engage.

Not necessarily more horsepower but the feel of a more sensitive spool is worth the 15$

To be honest, yes. In the situation of a mk5 gti with a noise pipe delete without catless dp , muffler delete, res delete, i could see that the spoiling noise toned down a little bit.

if your talking about where the noise pipe was, I'm not sure. Im not planning to have the whole deleted since I'm looking at other mods atm, once i have some extra cash i will make a tutorial how to install it, Thanks for the comment!

ThatRabbitGuy..Hey bud why is the reason that your doing that? My 07 2.0t fsi still has it on my engine. Should i remove mine. Mine has a little bit of work done to it too also. Just never heard of this procedure. But im new to these 2.0t. Im a vr6 guy..lol

People do it because theoretically it would make the boost more responsive since its ending at the intake port and not in the firewall Something that you don't NEED to do but some people do it just to test it out, thanks for the comment.

Sijecic BiH that tube brings the revs and throttle response into the cabin letting the driver feel in tune with the engine. Nothing more, nothing on the throttle response. It's just a tube to carry the tone into the cabin.

Tony - MCPE And More. That's the name of the engine. Vw Fsi engines are belt driven, and Vw Tsi engines are chain driven.

My problem it was with all the shaky video. That's why I avoid doing videos like that. Better use a tripod or anything and work double on editing part. Viewer will be more satisfied

I haven't covered it and have not had any problems.
