This video is about Modifying A Noisy Childs Toy that was so loud it scared the child and made him jump and cry when he hit the buttons. I thought there must be thousands of such toys that go unplayed with, well here's how I modified it.

The analog music chip that is heard is basically the same as what an ice cream truck uses for it's music these days. Wouldn't be surprised if this same exact chip (with this same music) has been used for ice cream trucks.

This is why it is good to have a 15 ohm resister handy so you can wire one into to speaker of an obnoxiously loud toy and make it quieter and more bearable for everyone! Also those cheap plastic speakers as this product has tend to also make it sound tinny to make matters worse.

You can seriously and make them into happy content kids. My mother taught me this lullaby and as I grew up and came home from school and helped with the child minding I used it all the time. As carer a of friends loud autistic son when his newborn brother came along I began doing this from the first few days. Whenever he needed to be sleeping around 10 mins before I'd start this routine. With a week the magic begun, I only had to place him on my shoulder and sing and with a few mins he'd drift off. I'd go round and he'd be screaming and his mum and dad had been getting more and more sleepless and agitated and I'd say let me take him. Within 5 - 10 mins he'd be fast asleep in a deep sleep and his mum would say I don't have time for that nonsense. It's never too late this tune is very rhythmic so with the cuddle, the slight bouncing and the song, the brain associates it with security and sleep. It worked nights and days. Once their asleep don't rush off just gently tap the back in time with the tune and get quieter then you can move away.
