Luminous drill with timer is btw great utility. Put a projectile at the end and you can shoot through walls with it and clear places without danger. Also the bonus of decreased recharge and cast delay.

Oh yeah it such pain in ass when you have everything you need to made deadly laser beam except the laser beam itself

It strikes me to point out, this guy has four perks, meaning he completed the Hisi base, then returned back to wreak havok on the dark temple. He may have even dipped into the jungle and grabbed stuff before returning upward. Good green wands are all over the ice level, but it would make sense to me if he had to go down to the jungle and back to really secure a strong build like this. I am of the opinion that the jungle tends to be when poor runs can turn around, especially if you have all the spells unlocked, you're bound to find something.

Go to the fungal caverns under the desert one of the best places for good loot / wands. You kinda need tinker with wands everywhere tho

Boomerang spells, the perk, makes Luminous Drill act funny

there are a few things that make the LD really long: ping pong path modifier and boomerang spells perk both do it. it's stupid really, makes the basic game super easy when you can shoot through walls and it's really powerful.

@@teok9964 aah no , i know that one, i was wondering what was making your mining laser stick out, far as i know the firing spee doesn't extend the mining laser..

@@N3V3L then its most likely his boomerang perk probably, since I think boomerang and ping pong path along with some others make the laser do that

He has the boomerang spells perk active, which for some reason causes the luminous drills to have a ridiculous range. The luminous drill interacts weirdly with modifiers that affect spell trajectory, it's worth experimenting with.

@@SGDrdszG Thank you, I shall experiment with that. As far as I've got with Luminous Drills is putting two together, one with a timer for digging. Always wondered how some people made them fly around the screen like that, lol.

Its the spell lifespan increase. This perk, and the rebound ones increase the lifespan of the spell, which makes the normally short pew become a massively long PPPPEEEEEEWWWW!

Wait, can't you also do luminous drill with trigger, I think I had that once and it had a similar effect.

@@metalilama1 Its a feature because the modifier and I'm assuming the perk increases the lifetime of the spell.

some of the spells that change how the projectile moves (orbit path, ping pong path, ect) make it travel farther.
