0:12 Adam was recently on Toby’s podcast, Toby wasn't sure he knew who he was 1:11 Growing up in Massachusetts, losing his dad when he was 3 y/o 2:00 Diving into the punk scene and the skate culture 3:15 Finding groups that aligns with your mindset 6:27 Seeing the Descendents perform in 85, meeting the lead singer, the camaraderie was enticing 8:57 Going to more shows in DC and developing his music interest, moving to NY at 18 and traveling with bands 9:33 “I was a terrible roadie” lol 9:57 Skateboarding, never been attracted to doing drugs, just pursuing his music dreams 10:57 Been drawn by the rock scene in NY, made his way to work in any place that could get him closer to his dream 11:33 “I was a terrible drum tech” + Realized he wanted to write songs and started pushing that way 12:01 How the name H20 came about in 1993 and how the band took a life of its own, got signed etc 12:39 “I was the roadie who wasn't supposed to make it lol” 13:45 Adam talks about some band being close minded about mixing genres 14:15 H20 mixing genres at the time was a bold move + Becoming a vegetarian in 1988 14:54 MC Serch No Jumper interview, being a huge fan of 3rd Bass 15:51 Being in awe of the scene and all these artists taking him under their wings 16:26 Year book quote lol 18:09 Moving to Cali and loving Cali now 19:18 H20 getting real steam, starting playing shows + Going on their first tour was game changer 20:45 Learning from Impact Unit, they were so professional 22:14 Performing at Warp Tour in 99 with Eminem, Deftones etc 22:55 Getting signed because of Rancid taking a like to H20 23:20 First east coast band to be signed to Epitaph then going to MCA 24:30 Recording the GO album, over produced but amazing experience + Recording in the studio next to Guns & Roses 26:45 Last project with MCA, 7 year hiatus, moving to cali, working in the concert circuit + Doing a side band Hazen Street, going on tour with them for 2 years 29:26 Getting H20 back together after a hiatus 29:48 Hardcore bands never really break up after they announce a split 31:28 Touring like crazy before, it's harder when kids are growing up 33:25 Feeling helpless when you're the dad, the baby is attached to the mother 34:59 Adam loves the dynamic between Toby and his son latest podcast together 36:46 Toby's son has multiple talents 37:37 Toby and his son share a lot of the same interests 39:22 Toby doesn't push anything on his son, but interestingly enough seem to follow Toby's footsteps 44:38 Toby used to breakdance in high school + Not being judged for being straight edge 50:53 Tatts on the palms and F the couch? 51:58 Toby's podcast ‎One Life One Chance, started 2 years ago 56:01 Kids listening to way more divers types of music 58:19 How Toby protects his kid from the craziness of the world 1:02:19 Adam raves about H20's song "What Happened" 1:03:53 Toby loves Turnstile 1:06:15 The end of ICP? 1:11:50 Adam had a band for like 5 minutes called Sky's The Limit 1:13:00 Not pushing straight edge on people 1:13:54 Toby speaking to kids at different schools about his experiences and building a non profit 1:16:46 Toby shares his story more as prevention: "You can't scare straight a kid from trying things" 1:18:50 Adam is inspired to talk to kids about making content/media 1:19:49 Toby's son playing drums for a few shows during latest H20 tour 1:21:05 Adam has a Combat Jack tattoo on his neck 1:26:30 Teenagers need to sleep a lot

Hell yeah, Toby has an amazing podcast and punk and hardcore need this light. The punk/hardcore to underground rap funnel is real and a lot of people in rap don’t understand that punk has been fighting against racism and the types of communities they build for decades. Both have things to learn from each other too like unity in the community and embracing new sounds and musical ideas.
