My first phone was Nokia 2110 in 1996. After that owned every Nokia flagship till N95. No other brand comes close to memories associated with Nokia.

This is why I've stopped my yearly upgrade cycle. My current phone will be two years old in a month and don't intend on changing it until at least 2025. It's a flagship so the guts still hold up. At least in the past, phones would slow down, but not anymore.

@@iceman6547 Not to the same degree as the 3310. You could run high voltage current through that phone, drop it in mud, smack it against a table, you name it and that phone would still work. A modern day smartphone with touchscreen display will shatter if dropped on its corner because of basic physics. New parts are also more delicate and not a durable as the low cost parts of the 3310

Once I left my Nokia on top my car ,and drove away ,suddenly I heard something sliding over the top of the car ,look on my rear view mirror and saw my phone bouncing on the road at 35 miles an hour ,stop the car and went back to get my phone,everything was working properly, only a few scratches, indestructible I will say.

Same exact thing happened to me. But fell off my truck. When I picked it up it was in 3 pieces. The phone the battery and the interchangeable face (remember those). Put the three back into one, pressed the power button. Made a call…at $1/min. Roflmao. But the damn Nokia still worked. No issues at all.

A car drove over my Nokia 3250 express twist to the music. Except for the casing being scratched it wasn't even dented. And the camera mode that turned it into a mini camcorder. It was freaking amazing. And the quality of the photos The edit because I am typing on a touchscreen.....had to fix a typo....

Мой рекорд - нокиа 6303 упала с балкона 8 этажа на асфальт и разлетелись на части. Я спустилась с 8го этажа, собрала крышку, батарейку, включила - заработал без проблем😂😂😂 пока включала, рядом сидящие парни смотрели затаив дыхание, после услышанного звука нокиа все громко рассмеялись😂😂😂😂

Actually the brand was sold first to Microsoft and later to a dutch company. Today it's only a name that has nothing to do with the original company neither their products. 😢

Back in 2001, Nokia was gold to me. iPhone and Samsung are stones compared to it. 3210, 3310, 5210, 5130, 8210,… all felt like a genuine piece of art.

It's ironic how the chorus sounds more like "to fail, to fail, to fail" which is exactly what this phone would do if they ever put it out. Don't bother with buttons if you're not gonna give me a full keyboard, and that camera isn't gonna compete at all.
