I remember how huge this was, back in the late 2000s this was the peak of mobile phone technology. My friends and I were drooling for one.

I had one back in 2008 and yes it was a beast with perfect camera and crazy loud sound.

I've used to dream to have this phone back in 2008. But I could only afford N73, but yes, I was so happy with N73 too. Such nostalgic

The camera samples have me goosebumps as if I was back in the time, moreover it actually felt like what a phone camera should be.

I purchased the original N95 at launch. What an epic phone that was. I was able to recently to get hold of the exact same one I had ( Sand color ).

It brings tears to eye when i see these and recall old golden days..wowww These were CALL REAL PHONE.HATS OFF

I just found an old one, I think it was my dad's. The standard silver one. Brought back memories. The camera looks amazing for the time, I really expected it to look much worse. Very cool phone.

I loved Nokia! The E90 Communicator was my favorite phone. I used to daily for 5 years before I was forced to upgrade. Love to see you make a video of an E90

I used this phone from 2008 until 2016. Incredible device. But, had to switch...my first Android was Android 6 :D What I really miss in new phones is the stereo-sound , it was really useful and the sound quality was better and louder.

Wow thanks for reviewing this. This is such alovely phone, that 2.8inch screen really big back at old days. And the other superb thing is dual slide design and that 3D HW Accelerator. You can play almost all high bitrate video without lag with maximum 640x480 resolution. The only thing that bother me is Mini USB port. I bought it too, from local market around 2 month ago. It have white colour and its 8gb Ver. Really happy to see people review old nokia Nseries phone.

The best about your tutorials is you also show sample images which actually shows how ahead of time these phones were!

you forgot to say that almost every Nokia phone that runs symbian "had" an always on display feature before it was a trend .and basically far useful than the current ones , thing that even microsoft did ahead of the competition for the current times with the glance screen, is funny and sad at the same time how many basic features that phones had before are now "innovation" in the eyes of the average consumist...

I apologise for commenting so much hahaha, but you mention stereo speakers, I remember so many times of laying in bed with phone sat on my upper chest near my neck, and the speakers either side would spread out the pretty darned good quality sound out in a nice spacial stereo.... I really love this series. I'm a big fan of nokia until the very end of the old nokia. I'd love to see more and probably have a sub playlist based on the type of phone (s40 feature phones, symbian 60, asha, etc.)

Omg this video was like a time machine, this was my first phone ever and i used to watch movies on it in 3gp formats. It was truly my most prised possession and being able to slide the screen both ways was mind blowing to me at that time

I had the silver variant, sadly someone stole it. At that time, the camera was outstanding, and 8gb capacity was too much for any other competitors to handle, the screen was so large and the slider was so wholesome....truly it was the era of dominance for Nokia, followed by Siemens and Motorolla. How the mighty has fallen these days is just sad, I had a thing for the company, my first one was original Nokia 1100.

Hi Abdulla! I had lots of Nokia in my life and I think that they were the best phones in that era. I have a Nokia N95-1 and It still working, but unfotunately some keys stopped to work. It is very sad. Thanks for share your videos to us, It is a very jump in the past. I'd like to live forever in this era again in a loop. I am very nostalgic for these things. Hi Abdulla, That one was the best phone I ever had for the time. The camera was mind-blowing for 2008 when I purchased this device. I really wish Nokia would continue to go this route instead of their fate. Can you imagine Nokia N95 8gb 10 years anniversary version instead of Iphone X? If you can, please feature the phone I purchased in 2011 to replace my trusty N95 - Nokia E7 :) Btw amazing cats. Regards!

I still love keypad phones today, and there's so much KaiOS phones out there, I just wish Nokia would make more of this with two versions, one with OG Symbian OS and the other one with KaiOS

It's hard to believe we will see something from HMD as feature packed or remarkable as the N95 8GB. HMD don't have the resources and the landscape has changed so dramatically now. It's a fact the slab is nearing its peak. Foldable phones from Samsung and such are probably the next big leap but HMD would never be able to add to that landscape. The best they will probably muster is the X60/70. It's safe to say that Nokia of yesterday is certainly gone for the foreseeable future. The phone sales are just not there to warrant the R&D needed to produce something that had the impact of the the N95 and more specifically the N95 8 GB. I've been saying for ages now the just need 3 phones. Budget like the 1.4. Higher budget like the 5.3 or 5.4. And a true feature packed midrange. All they need is a good SOC. A good quality screen. Descent cameras and an updated build of the Lumia 920, 1020 or N9 with true minimalist design in the retro colours maybe. Maybe I'm just wrong but if your gonna do budget, use your strengths and do it right. Great vid as always.
