From Season 1 Episode 1 “Pilot”: John Nolan is a 45-year-old divorcé who, after witnessing (and preventing) a bank robbery in his small town, packs up his entire life to move to Los Angeles and become a cop.

Fun fact about car windows, hit the corners and not the center to break them. It’s weaker around the edges than in the middle

Sparks Fly because car window glass is normally laminated to prevent the glass from shattering everywhere in an accident; the center can flex from a blow, the corners cannot. A window punch(as shown in this clip) is the quickest way, but precise force will do the job. Car glass is designed to be tough (since you normally don’t want your window to break if it gets hit)

That's weird, when I did it with a baton in training, it was fairly easy to break.

@@xXxXzeldarocksXxXx the windshield up front has a layer of glass, layer of vinyl, ending with a layer of glass. The side windows are tempered, really compact you would need to focus energy at a point. You take a screw driver or throw a piece of porcelain from a spark plug to break it

the face that nathan fillion make, when he trying to wake up the child i've seen firefighters made the same face for saving 4 years old from fire it's goes emotional after knowing the kid were save and breathing at hospital it was good, nathan it was good

Always remember, the side are tempered. You can place a screwdriver against then hit the back end or throw a piece of porcelain from a sparkplug to shatter it. Since it's tempered, it'll turn into pebbles and not launch shards of glass everywhere. Don't go doing this to steal cars, only in emergency

So... The guy who we thought was a drug addict who said “it’s the unicorns, they’ve got them” and was smashing car windows, actually helped save his son, who was boiling in a car, near uNiCoRn balloons

I'm sorry he use the right tool to break into the car or tried to. If he wasn't hitting it like he was four years old it would've broke. That's what a asp is for.

*Well, you can argue and say he could have used his firearm. But that doesn't mean it's the proper tool. His training officer just ran up and shattered it efficiently with very minimal effort... by using the BEST tool that every officer has on their belt.*

Im sure alot of people already know this but if anyone remembers Nolans Voice Actor from somewhere you might know of a Game Called Halo 3 :ODST . If you played it the Character Buck is Voiced by the same person

The right thing to do in a situation where you come upon an unattended child in a car on a hot day is to smash the window, then call 911. "Hello, I need an ambulance and an officer to this car i've just smashed for an overheated child"

Her response to Nolans "We gotta find this kid" "pray we don't". I see what she says about seeing the dead kid changing people, but the fact that she says to the one she is teaching to PRAY WE DON'T find the kid ever? Is an absolutely ludicrous line to even say.

I’m pretty sure ASPs are made for breaking windows, or atleast them seem pretty good at it

No. There is an actual tool called the Window Breaker. The ASPs can be used to break a window, but it is not their design. Kind of like shooting a window with a gun. It can do it, but not it's job. It also doesn't help that he was hitting the window in it's strongest area, the center. Car windows are laminated and made to flex on impact, which the center of windows are most likely to take the hit if in a crash. So the best place he could have hit was the edges of the window, but he didn't.

Cause it wasn't just harassment, it was sexual harassment, but was it one of the actors or the producers, cause if I remember correctly they wanted her to be more sexy on camera than her character was suppose to be, I could be way off, but that's what I think I remember
