LOL HELL NO...Maybe to the MTV Generation and those that fall for over commercialised singers hyped gimmicks like 1 glove the zippered jacket non stop 24-7 rotation of his videos back then ..And then the moonwalk that he got credit forthat has been around at least since the 1930,s. James Brown had more talent in one foot and it's a damn shame the younger generation since the 80s has been dumb down with the mediocre music. James Brown hands down was a better dancer better singer and performer, if MTV would have been around back in James Brown's Hay Day he would have been twice as big with raw natural Talent and not the hype and gimmicks.. I'm not hating you have to understand they have pushed other groups like this U2 is a example.. they spent untold millions of dollars promoting them.. you have to remember Michael Jackson popularity after the Jackson 5 was very minor it wasn't until the Thriller gimmick video and the non-stop video rotation on MTV that launched him into the stratosphere. It was all planned and orchestrated nothing natural or organic about it..

It was good there was no autotune! Good singers don’t need it. I grew up with MJ and other 80’s performers, and that music from that era’s still the best we ever had. Today’s computerized autotuned crap gives me a headache every time the young folk listen to it. One day I couldn’t stand it any longer, introduced them to MJ, and now they’re hooked to real music and genuine art. 😎

Not only that man. You get amazed by the dance the singing, the crowd fully packing that stage. But also the performance all the people that performed with Michael would always say how neat he liked everything. He wanted things just right. The lights, the sequence of things. When he snapped his fingers and the light went to that spot. That was also part of his design. He put magic in his show man. I still remember he died. I was shocked. I cried yearning so bad I could have seen his show maybe gone to meet and greets something. I was young but I was dancing to his song. My mom my aunt my uncle my cousins all ages everyone would gather and watch his televised concerts. We would pay paperview for his concerts for his showings. My cousins 3 hours away we told them we got the concert right now avaliable for 1 more day in our cable box they would pop up that day to watch it and hang out. Buy pizza or make a barbecue. MJs time was magic man. When we heard about new music or new cd album out. We would run to the store try to get a copy. My little cousin at the time danced like him on a talent show in his elementary. We didn't deserve such a man. MJ was a gift to us and we didn't deserve him. May God have him in his grace.
