Now that my van has gotten all of its upgrades and modifications at Drifter Vans, I decided to make a pit stop in the UP before heading out of Michigan. This is something I have always wanted to do! Even though our time was limited, I'm so glad we got to experience a small portion of it!
Stay tuned for the next episode where Josh and I explore the Badlands. We were totally blown away and surprised by the beauty of South Dakota!

Great review!! I went over the Mackinaw bridge on a motorcycle and it's scary!! The U.P. is beautiful. I'll be up that way in Sept going to the Ford Museum. Yeah, I'm a gearhead..

The only change I make for boondocking in the western states is: No open flame burning ever outdoors. I won't even attend a campfire if invited. 👍 Rock on 🙂.

Spent a month last summer in the UP. Some of your footage is so familiar. One of the best and most beautiful areas in the US. From Duluth to Lake Huron and the Mighty Mac, one of my favorites. Travel safe and stay well.

Thanks for the video. I was there last year. I put my dog , Snickers in the free kennel while I took the Picture Rock cruise. Unfortunately the weather was cold and cloudy. I got some pasties too. yum.

Just an fyi, Diggs has an inflatable dog crate that is crash rated. It's what I use when traveling with my Huskies. Deflates and rolls up. Has tie downs.

I’ve been wanting to take an assignment in Washington. It would be nice to stick around for a few months instead of getting lost in the trees and leave. Did it take a minute to get your Washington License? I’m also an Allied traveler. I remember a while back it felt like it was harder to get the Wa license than other states. It may be easier now.
