The people in Vault 32 died in 2294 two years before the raider attack. Television: "This rodent colony is called a mouse utopia. Inside, the mice enjoy all the amenities... all the food they can eat, all the padding they can sleep on... but eventually, overpopulation occurs. The mice fight for the once bountiful food, the once endless space. They eat each other in their desperation to survive." Chet: "So, if they were already dead when the raiders got here, who killed them? I mean, it looks like they strangled each other with their hands. It just doesn't make any sense."

Cold Fusion would require far less material to initiate and run compared to hot fusion. It could also be said to be safer if the containment is perieced than hot fusion. Hot fusion core for say a vehicle would be a small explosion, still dangerous but less for the environment than a lithium battery fire though. Season Two is in production. The props, a number of sets and story ideas are already complete.

IMO Barbra would not be in vault 31, that is for Buds Buds which are management trainees. Barb is much higher up then that. Lucys mother was born in vault 33. Lucys dad was not concerned about his children in any way, he was a loyal vault tec employee who was getting rid of a competitor, "Shady Sands". The irony is Shady Sands was started by vault-tec. The fusion cores need a key to remove as you will recall. Also why the squires stay behind them. The ghoul talked about wearing the armor with Bud at the commercial shoot. Also was a marine in past and fought in the battle of Alaska. IMO Moldaver is not alive because of ghoul juice she used a private vault with cryogenic pods, she was very wealthy in the past after all. Dane a true friend to the end. Las Vegas is where Lucys dad went.

Cooper wore the predecessor of the T-60. The fault in the welding would have been pierced if too many standard rounds hit it in the same area or a very lucky shot. A lot of wearers during the battle of Anchorage died due to the fault. Shady Sands was started by those from a vault that opened without authorization due to overcrowding and conflict. So the Enclave/Vault Tec would have gotten rid of Shady Sands at some point

Even if all sides are somewhat morally grey, Muldaver was the “most right” if you ask me, and I don’t even think it’s a question. Her stated goal, even 200 years before was to use cold fusion not to make money but to free humanity from all the hardships that reliance on limited sources of energy creates. It remained her vision in the wasteland. Fighting and killing was undoubtedly not her preferred choice but one that becomes necessary when everyone opposing you uses those tactics, thus forcing a response.

We agree. Im sure the same would be true in the real world. Something like that would be surpressed because there is no money in it.

@@KalElCanFly no there would be money in cold fusion especially in regards to space craft engines military craft such as carriers subs and to power other craft, and even weapon applications. Fusion bombs would be a lot cheaper and more effective since there would be no fallout due to not needing a fission reaction to start the fusion One reason why nuclear engines for aircraft was canned was the enormous heat of the reactor would melt through the plane. Cold fusion you don't have to worry about that problem and several of the other problems that canned nuclear engines for aircraft

@@KalElCanFly it would be far cheaper to build a power plant on cold fusion tech as well as safer. Try a few hundred mill instead of 12-15 billion for the nuclear fission plants today that due to a certain part requirement delay plant construction by 20 years. No such part required for cold fusion plus no nuclear waste. So yes there would be tons of money to be made bringing it to the masses. Vault tec didn't want it brought since it would remove the need for the war which was going on to get uranium for the hot fusion tech people were using.

As noted Coopers car is a real car that was very ahead of its time the 1954 Kaiser Darrin. Episode 1 also had in the background scenes of the birthday the 1960 Plymouth XNR concept car Bud is driving a Messerschmitt KR200

Since he had the daughter with him my thoughts were that someone beat vault-tec to the punch and the bombs were either dropped by an enemy or triggered by another corporation

Prior to the TV series, the most popular theory was that China dropped the bombs 1st due to the advancements the USA was making in technology & the war overall. After their bombs dropped everyone else PANIKED and released theirs in response. This is why I still don't think Vault Tec was responsible. They spoke about it to investors, implied it, but we have yet to see concrete proof that they did it.

Watch the outro, because Hank is off to: *_"Fallout ~ New Vegas"_* ! ;) Fans love that for a reason. Mr House of "Rob-Co" took it over and had some fallout/issues with Vault-Tec/Enclave, he saved Las Vegas when the bombs fell, so it was little damaged, and set the casinos and Hoover Dam up again to service the NCR and make money. The NCR was at war with "Caesar's Legion" and had defeated the local Brotherhood (but that was about 15 years before the TV show began)

Vault-Tec was planning on dropping the bombs first, but China did send its stealth bombers and submarines to attack the USA so China HAD to be preparing an attack on the day the bombs dropped, so they might have pre-empted Vault-Tec (we know that from info in the games)

@@silverbladeTE vault tec in the proposed Fallout Movie did start the nuclear attack. So the games always had hints Vault Tec started or was planning to. Vault Tec was also sabotaging the peace talks and likely had agents in China pressuring for war. Either someone at vault tec jumped the gun or China acted faster than Vault Tec thought they would. Vault Tec wasn't as smart as they thought. Lots of the vault exp were just idiotic or sadism rather than actually useful. Plus lots of vaults either got wrong supplies or were not complete like they were supposed to.

The Brotherhood was in conflict with the NCR long after. after all why were they there to save fridge meat if they were not involved in the nuking of shady sands or were on there way to attack it?

@@toomanyaccounts Evidence suggests the Chinese reacted to learning about the "FEV" experiments But in Fallout 2 you get hints a rogue AI may have started it, so hey, the mystery is fun ;) ~ Corruption, inhumanity and using morons, like "Bud", ensured the vaults were always gonna be a disaster so even their experiments were often wrecked. ~ Moral being not against Capitalism per se, but that it's all down to Human nature that wrecks EVERY system in the end "Corporatism" just exacerbates that trend ~ those who lust for power are often incompetent or act so because they are obsessed with personal power etc rather than making a good job ~ Sociopaths, malignant narcissists etc don't care at all about others and have little concept of risk or caution, so they are stupid...see the real world today :/
