The chilli peppers are supposed to be a reference to their lore, which is that the government is suppressing all forms of emotion and art. Chilli peppers invoke emotions because of their heat, so in this MV they are smuggling them!

You NEED to check out their Kingdom performances , it'll get blocked on here but Kingdom Legendary War was a show where a bunch of KPOP bands : Ateez, Stray Kids , BTOB , SF9 , iKON, The Boyz, all competed against each other and it was intense. there was a winner but I wont say who , you need to check out Ateez's performances and Stray Kids because THEY ARE INCREDIBLE.

There's a reason why so many people recommend live performances of Ateez. They are monster performers, they bring their hearts and souls into every performance and it shows. Their choreography is at hard as it can get, but despite that they never lacked in the vocal department. I personally, appreciate them for so much both individually and as a group. I really do hope you will continue to discover them bit by bit because the journey I took getting to know these guys up until now was amazing and seeing others discover and liking them makes me very emotional. Keep up the good work!😊

Halazia and Deja Vu are by far my favourite Ateez songs

Ateez are amazing live. Their energy is top level. Other Ateez songs worth checking out are Say My Name, Wonderland, Hala Hala, Answer, Inception, Thanxx, Fireworks, Deja Vu, Rocky, Halazia and Crazy Form. Any of their Kingdom performances are also worth a watch xx

50+ aged Ateez lover. Love their music and vibe. Been a fan of them since their debut. I’ve been to two of their concerts. Their stage presence and performance is out of this world. My favorite Ateez song is Halazia . You should check that song out. The video is awesome too. My favorite album is: The world ep 2: Outlaw. All the songs on that album are great.

You could go down a whole rabbit hole with Ateez. All of their music has a lore to it that is fairly extensive. As far as other recommendations…Ateez has a “little brother” group called Xikers. Some of their songs…Tricky House, We Don’t Stop, Red Sun. Hongjoong of Ateez helps produce their music.

Well, actually, ATEEZ has more than one style. They even make me cry with some of their songs like "Turbulence". You'd be really surprised how versatile they are! Thank you so much for reacting to them! They come from a really, really small company and they're going far thanks to their hard work!

Considering how much you liked Guerrilla, and that you're a metalhead, I think the next ATEEZ song you need to check out is Halazia. It's one of my all time favorites, and another one of theirs that goes really hard, especially towards the end (which they're known to do in many of their songs!). 🤘

Ateez hit different than other groups. They have so many amazing songs Cyberpunk, Halazia, Guerrilla, Wonderland, Crazy Form, Bouncy are all favs of mine. They also got some beautiful vocals and are amazing performers. I love and support them 100%. KQ Entertainment knows how to pump out the KQ genes in their artists. If you love ATEEZ, check out their babies called XIKERS (rookie group under KQ also, Ateez lil brothers) that HongJoong from Ateez actively writes for.

Ateez performed at Coachella in the US a few weeks ago and got a lot of attention for their crazy choreography, elaborate sets and props, and insane live vocals. People who have been discounting Ateez because they don’t come from one of the major Kpop companies are now sitting up and paying attention.

So ATEEZ has a lore to the group (it's a bit complex so you'll need to dive pretty deep to get the whole picture) but basically all their music videos are connected through this overarching story, and the whole idea of music as rebellion and a means of freedom in an emotionally supressed world is a key theme to that whole lore. The chili is also related.

ATEEZ lyrics make more sense if you knew their entire lore! It's complex and fascinating! ATEEZ is absolutely phenomenal on all levels!

HALA HALA is one of my favorites live. The energy, the atmosphere, the piercing vocals and the sharp rap. So so good

i got the opportunity to see them last year and i can testify their live performances goes hard from stable live vocals to choreography they delivered it all and im so excited to see them again this august!

It's part of the lore and it's a reference to something else. The chili pepper is used like we use the eggplant emoji.

You really can't go wrong with Ateez! Thanxx, Fireworks, Say My Name... every single song by them is great

Deja Vu was my first Ateez song. Their whole discography is so good. Recommend Say my name, Hala Hala, Halazia, Inception, Crazy Form.

ATEEZ are known for their performance skills. There is a show called Immortal Songs, where lipsynching is not allowed and you have to be invited to perform, and our boys have won 4 times already and are the group with most wins so far, if i am not mistaken :) For that they are also called spicy idols, because they bring the heat to the stage and i believe that’s why they took the reference. They wanted to show the spice korea has to offer

My personal faves.. their debut Pirate King, Answer, The Real, Fireworks, Crazy Form. Probably their most iconic though is Wonderland.

Oh, I wish you could have heard their Coachella performance. They were incredible. Ateez and BTS are the two best Kpop groups to see live. At least in my experience, and I go to a lot of concerts.

Got into Ateez with Hala Hala. Their discography is incredible. From ballads to heavier Edm and rock vibes. They have something for everyone. My favourites are Inception and Aurora. With everything else a close third lol. Guerrilla was monumental. Their live performances are insane. You must watch Coachella.

HALA HALA and Answer are my favorite Ateez songs. HALA HALA is just a straight banger, and Answer is the most epic and anthemic of all of their songs. ❤❤❤

It was the same for me with Ateez. Love at first sight. The first m/v I saw was Black Cat Nero. You would love Crazy Form, Wonderland, Not Okay, Answer, Thanxx, Rocky (Boxer vers.), Inception, Deja Vu... There are so many good ones. As for an other group I love TxT and Stray Kids. Stray kids have amazing m/v. They are really something. Them too have so many amazing m/v it's hard to choose.

Ateez was one of the groups that scratched an itch as someone that used to only listen to rock/metal music. However, I also like the fact they are quite versatile and play around with different styles. Their balads and slower songs are equally master pieces that showcase their vocal abilities. Since you mention that you lie metal music I would recommend checking out Dreamcatcher. My introduction to Dreamcacther was deja vu and scream, but maison is also a good intro to them

Ateez has very few misses in their discography. They do a lot of genres and they excell in all of them. Is really amazing to jump into their pirate ship and as San (the figher guy of this video) once said. Now you're in the ship with them and they won't let you leave

As someone who got the chance to watch them live on their first ever stadium concert, I gotta say their energy is insane, it's contagious, I got hyper for hours after the concert ended, they're really some of the best performers in kpop nowadays. You should also check out Halazia and some of their older songs, like Say My Name, Answer and Wonderland.

When I first discovered Ateez I wasn’t into it i just forgot about them for a while then I watch crazy form mama performance and that got me hooked onto only crazy form I still didn’t care for the rest of their music. I like crazy form so much I decided to give the rest of thier music a try and now I could say with full confidence Ateez are amazing their music has grown on me lots

My first ateez song was Pirate King! It's their first song it came out in 2018, I've been a fan since day one and I don't regret anything. Watching them grow more popular was really fun and I'm so proud 😭❤️

A lot of people look at “Ateez” and pronounce it “uh-tease,” but it’s a long A sound to begin with, sounding more like “ay-tease.” And the fans are called Atiny, which often gets mispronounced as “Uh-teeny” or “A TINY” when it should be more like “ay-teeny”… Just FYI, hoping to be helpful for future reactions. Haha you're right about it getting a bit dirty in the chorus xD Like chilli peppers are a euphemism in korea for, well, the phallic organ, and then they keep saying they'll "make it bouncy" as they hip thrust. xD Also, speaking of that chipmunk voice thing they did for the second part of the chorus, they actually first did it for the song HALA HALA, which was their secondary title track for their first ever comeback, so like the first release after their debut. I imagine that took guts and I love them for that ^^ The chilli reference is for their lore. A part of their lore has a dystopian place where emotions are Highly Discouraged because it's a hard to control variable that promotes free thinking, and the version of ATEEZ fighting against that whole thing in that world through spreading art (music, dance, poetry, fine arts, etc) that incite emotions. The chillis being spicy and causing a reaction on the consumer are like an analogy for that version of ATEEZ exciting the listener, and thus chillis are like a representation of their movement for the Bouncy era. The Guerilla MV is set in the same universe featuring the same ATEEZ characters as the Bouncy MV. Btw, I really hope you react to Halazia, that song and MV is just the best imo. The melody, the beat, the lyrics, the theatrics, it's all incredible. It's what finally got me into ATEEZ full on

Halazia, this world, crazy form, treasure, don't stop, turbulence, blacj cat nero, and wonderland are some of my favorite ateez songs. BTS, stray kids, and ateez along with taemin are my favorite groups.

3:30. There are a lot of jokes in the fandom about this song especially with 🌶️ being slang like eggplant. The song is intended to be upbeat and to be a fun summer song with that extra Ateez spice, but yes, if you read the translations and know a few details, it's kinda hilarious and a little sus.

if you like Ateez , you'll love dreamcatcher. They are a girl group with some of the same producers as ATEEZ and a very similar style

Yeah the chilli peppers have multiple meanings. The kind of Chilli pepper they're talking about (cheonyang) is a specific Korean type that is eaten there a lot so it's "korean" vibe like that korean spice/kpop vibe. but also chilli is a euphemism for you know what - the smaller the chilli the spicier etc. but it's also to do with their lore in terms of chillies being spicy and government repression.

If you want more groups, you should check out Dreamcatcher, a seven-member girl group that since their debut in 2017 has used rock music as a base for all of their title tracks. Their producers are actually from the same production group that does Ateez's music. Would suggest "Chase Me" (their debut song), "Deja Vu," "Scream," "BEcause," or "Maison" to start (note: One of the members, Handong, is absent from the title tracks "Scream" and "Boca") - "Deja Vu" and "BEcause" are standalone songs, but the others are the start to various story arcs.

My first song that got me into ATEEZ was Turbulence. Imwas going through the roughest patch of my life, and when i found them, it felt like they reached their hand out to me to help me overcome all of it 🥹 my first korean comeback was Guerrilla, so it reall holds a special place in my heart and i have been listening to it multiple times daily since it came out 😂 I would recommend you maybe Halazia next :)

They go soooo hard live! I got to go to their Break The Wall concert in Texas in 2022 and it was so high energy, even the softer songs were pumped. Check out their live performance of Arriba. They just finished Coachella also. My favorite is actually an intro called Propaganda. You should do their Immortal Songs 2 performances. They’ve won four times now.

TXT songs are must watch videos (déjà vu, lovesong, run away). This group is insanelyy talented.

I knew of them for a while but it took Guerrilla for me as well to REALLY give them a chance and then I watched Black cat Nero, it's their cover of an older kpop song that has very strong Halloween and oldschool vibe and I fell so hard. They have become my ults since then, something I didn't think could be possible after being an ARMY for years. If you looking for more Patreon reactions, I strongly suggest you do Kingdom legendary war, it's a survival music show with 6 teams (Ateez AND Stray kids are there!) witch insanely cool performances but also a lot of behind the scenes stuff where you see groups interact with each other and get the vibe of them as people!

Xikers - We Don’t Stop and Red Sun. They are also from KQ so ATEEZ’ little brothers if you will. HongJoong writes with them and assists in production for some of their songs. Absolutely love ATEEZ they became an Ult for me pretty fast. Also who doesn’t love time traveling dimension jumping pirates.

I found Ateez through Stray kids kingdom performances. They do a few performances with Stray kids and BtoB and they are amazing I recommend those kingdom performances.
