Dynamite earned BTS their first Grammy nomination, got them their first number 1 on the billboard hot 100 chart, and became the most viewed music video in 24 hours on youtube with 101.1 million views (Butter by BTS would break that record the following year). Right now 6 of the 7 members of BTS are completing their mandatory military service, the oldest member Jin has already completed his and was discharged last month. But they've been releasing solo albums and other content since 2022 and are still releasing new content while serving in the military. BTS are still very much a group and they plan to be back together after they are all discharged in June 2025 when they will be celebrating their 12 year anniversary as a group.
