Welcome to the Salvage Rebuilds UK channel. In todays video we purchase another ex fleet van with mechanical problems.
Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

But don’t forget you should also reply to people that ask you for a info. Maybe they are stuck somehow and they will like advise from you. In my case i messaged you few time in regards with a fiat 500 and never got a reply. Cheers.

Were working and filming every day I always respond to comments but at the same time I don’t get time to give out advice I get thousands of messages asking for advice if I answered them all I would never sleep I have never seen any messages from you. What video was it on ? You also have to appreciate tomorrow morning I’ll be back filming the next one so don’t really get a chance to go back to this video again I can only reply on the night of the video or sometimes the next evening. We don’t get a notification wen we get new comments. Also like this reply you will see it but I won’t see your reply as there will be many more after it and I don’t go back as it doesn’t show I got a reply you have to start a new msg. I hope this helps

At the start of the video you said how much you welcomed the input from the subscribers. I think that is why we enjoy the channel, you are honest and engage the subs and take on board ideas from them. Gives us an impression that we are all in this together

Iv watched your videos now for a few months, you do know your youtube videos are as good as any TV program on this subject and the way you present them is so on point :) The MK1 Golf Cab will be an amazing set of videos, as your probably already aware, Mk1 Golfs are so perfect for mechanics and those that truly love cars, as everything comes to peaces and can be replaced and made perfect again unlike modern cars :)

Rob you'll be able to do the leak off test and replace the injectors in your sleep, should be another easy turnaround for you both, good to see Chris back out and about hope he's not over doing it.

I've seen on doblos with engines less than 1.6 have silly small batteries and always have issues with in 12 months 14 months crazy great video as always

Rob those little crew vans seem absolutely brilliant. I love it when you and Chris repair/restore such useful vehicles, and this in turn enables the next owner to do their work better and probably provide employment at the same time. It all makes the world go round buddy, car channels don’t always need to be about bright metallic paint and smoking tyres! 😊🇬🇧👍 good for you!

Rob, van prices are through the roof at the moment 30%up on last year due to not enough in the market, you should be selling them for more, I’d hate to see you being done and the next buyer just turning it over for double what you sell it for 👍

I have used a Probat batterie in the past and found them to be decent for the price and DriveTec are also decent batties for the price

I've just got some injectors for a 2016 1.6 doblo, £720 inc vat for bosch reconditioned. They didn't want the old ones in exchange (injector code ending 524). Feathers Diesel Services in Halifax. Great to deal with and very knowledgeable!

Great, a low mileage combo van. Good luck sourcing those injectors for better price than last time. £900 does seem alot. Thanks for the update Rob with the Polo regarding the underseat fuel pump, wondered what became of this car. I appreciate the logistics are quiet demanding of your operation, & thanks for responding previously. Hope the combo van rewards you well with a quick turnaround. 👍👌
