The Bowser and Donkey Kong amiibo/Skylander Hybrid thing works, just has to be in amiibo mode for game to recognize it. They didn't give me any spirits, but when my friend scanned tgem on his switch, he got stuff like snacks and gold and stuff. Also a spirit for each, forgot which ones they were though...

But the Bowser and Donkey Kong Skylanders are definitely working! I have the Dark Hammer Slam Bowser and the Turbo Charge Donkey Kong. I tried them on the 3DS and now on the Switch. They work fine you just need to twist the element effect of their base to make them Amiibos... They have a Skylanders chip set and one for the Amiibo support.

Monster Hunter, loot goblin, and Qbby are incompatable. The fire Emblem Echoes and Tika Amiibo are company’s though and give spirits.

@@derekmartin5340 Yes they are Amiibos and Skylanders in one because they have both Chip-Sets for the functionality as Skylanders and Amiibos! You just need to twist the element effect of their base to change them into Amiibos or Skylanders respectively.

Quick question, do all the amiibos that aren't Smash Bros amiibos translate to fighters if they are in the game as a fighter? For example Golden Mario, Kirby, and Wedding Bowser

So the sky landers racers game had a bowser that could switch between that game and amiibo and you actually get the bowser character from it. Super cool
