BEST Video on ANAL FISSURES and what causes them!
FEMALE ➡️ www.rebalancep...
MALE ➡️ www.rebalancep...
If you or someone you know is suffering from anal fissures, it's important to understand the impact that tight muscles can have on this condition. In this video, we discuss what anal fissures are, the common symptoms associated with them, and the difficulties in healing them.
We also explore the connection between tight musculature in the pelvic floor and anal fissures. Often, when these muscles become too tight, they can make the sphincter tight as well. This can lead to increased pressure on the walls of the sphincter during a bowel movement, making it difficult for the fissure to heal properly.
If you're looking for effective anal fissure treatment, it's important to work with a team of experts who understand the complex relationship between pelvic floor muscles and anal fissures. In addition to the recommendations of your colorectal doctor, a pelvic floor physical therapist can help improve the health of these muscles to prevent the fissure from reoccurring.
At Rebalance Physical Therapy, we specialize in helping patients find relief from conditions like anal fissures through personalized treatment plans that focus on whole-body wellness.
Don't suffer in silence, visit us at www.rebalancept.com to learn more about anal fissure treatment and how we can help you break the cycle of tension and heal.
Remember, this video is for educational purposes only, please consult your doctor before receiving any form of treatment.

To fight such types of disease the thing you need : 1) 100% POSITIVE attitude that everything is going to be fine because stress make it worse , 2) eating less can also constipate you due to low pressure for stool to pass , so eat adequate don't eat excessive fiber as it heavy to digest & may cause gas 3) monitor your diet , after eating what how your body reacts , eat accordingly 4) Don't ask GOD why this is happening with me , because God knows your the only one who can fight this disease he has chosen you to complete this task 5) What ever may happen DON'T GIVE UP Fight until Death , this is how warriors live

Kevin Correa - About 22 years ago my pelvic floor muscles reached a point where they were so tight I could not sit down or lie on either of my sides in bed because those tight muscles would impinge on my urethra. I saw one of the best urologists in San Francisco (Dr. Milton Rosenberg) who told me my pelvic floor muscles were rubbing against my prostate gland but he did not know why. Bottom-line; I did my own research on the Net and soon realized that my problem was due to the constant clinching of my pelvic floor muscles while working out with weights at the gym. So, to make a short story even shorter I bought a book titled "STRETCHING" by Bob Anderson and selected some groin stretches and did them at 9:00 A.M., 1:00 P.M., 5:00 P.M., and 9:00 P.M. after first soaking in a hot tub of water. I was back at work in a week----however, I now try to avoid lifting anything heavy.

And one of the symptoms that’s been making me think that it’s more serious like bowel cancer or crohns ..... is that my hips hurt and my perineum area near my bollocks also aches !!! Suffering right now like mad guys. I know your pain. How you guys are dealing with it . Cicatridina twice at day and rectogesic. My problem is that I never was constipated. I was doing gym and having a diet with lots of fruit and vegetables. Going to the toilet doesn't give me any pain. Its the afterwards that kills me. A sharp pain and burning up to 10 hours. Also the muscles around-the- area tend to become so tense the pain is gets so bad. So the cream relaxes the muscles and the supportery should work on the cut. 7 days gone, 3 times went to the toilet. I love food and started to refusing it as the pain gets excruciating. Surviving on soup at lunch and a slice of bread at dinner. Sometimes I skip it. Especially now with the covid its impossible to stand in line at the supermarket.

1-Before going to toilet put jelly inside the rectum with a finger , it will help to relax rectum will passing stool 2- after passing stool put ointment or any cream with a finger into rectum this process will help to clean any material reaming in that region that is causing pain or itching , the resedu remaining causes pain burning etc

Hello I have been experiencing the same issue for a little over a month now mine is caused from childbirth. Initially I had the same hours of excruciating pain after a bowel movement but now its just a few minutes or sometimes no pain at all. What I do is use damped toilet paper to wipe and I take a sitz bath (ie sitting in warm salt water) for 25 minutes 3 times a day and always after a bowel movement. It relaxes the muscles and ease the pain. You have to take in as much fibre as possible to keep your bowel fluffy. I make green smoothies this is the best way to get a lot of fibre in for me plus I take metamucil. I am not completely healed but I am surviving my days much more than before when I use to be afraid to eat or pass stool. I do hope this was helpful to you.

@@adithangiadi4176 - I'm not a doctor or a medical professional but from my own personal experience I am of the opinion that it can. When certain people lift weights it causes them to clench their pelvic floor muscles and those muscles can get tighter and tighter until they start having problems urinating and defecating. However, it appears that most people can engage in weight lifting without this problem. Also, be advised that you can counter tight pelvic floor muscles by doing groin stretches everyday. If you're a bicyclist then I would recommend getting a Spongy Wonder bicycle seat so you don't have the horn of your bicycle seat pressing against your pudendal nerve.

I'm able to digest anything I eat(my digestion is good) but when it comes to excretion, my body suffers. I have irregular bowel movements. Have to apply more force than normal while farting due to this pelvic floor tension. Masturbation worsens my pelvic floor tension. I have experienced while masturbating that my pelvic floor is contracting which leads to constipation. Please anyone in the comment section let me know what other things can I do🙏🙏🙏🙏 Edit : I'm not a frequent masturbator nor my life revolves around it. I do thrice in 1 month. But whenever I do it I experience pelvic floor tension which is brutally irritating.

Probiotics will soften your stools so that you will not repeatedly injure the fissure. Then, the fissure can finally heal. They will also balance the health of your intestines. Do not eat white foods, like, pasta, bread, cheese, chips, crackers, or cheese, meats. What does this leave you to eat? Oh boy, you will lose weight, like me, I was 143, went to 118....I was starving....food is difficult for me, and, I believe probiotics have aided me in the healing of my very painful 10 month long fissure. I wish you all the best.

You will know when it is getting better because it will hurt less and less until finally you won’t have pain. Hi, Thank you for your videos. I am a 67 y.o. male. I am having pain in my butt and I was thinking perhaps periformis syndrome. The pain is only when i sit and contained to just the right side. However lately the pain seems to generate closer to my rectum and i thought perhaps possible hemorrhoid involvement. To my surprise comfort the pain seemed to subside after inserting a suppository. The pain subsides for a while but then returns. Do you have any clue to what i might be experiencing? Thank you in advance.

I’ve been to pelvic floor training. It’s only helped so much. I’ve seen three doctors and had MRI, no fissures. Also had all my hemorrhoids removed with o’reagan banding. Still I have pain everyday. However, I was feeling fine after hemorrhoid removal but I strained hard during a bowel movement which was stupid! So now I’ve got pain that hasn’t responded to pelvic floor training. I need help to go further please.

Hi Vincent, It could be a few things as to possibly why you did not respond to PF therapy. I do many case management calls and many times I have found that the therapy people have had was not comprehensive or appropriate despite it being called pelvic floor therapy. Therefor this is why we made our online program...it might be able to help guide you as far as if you had the correct and most comprehensive therapy. You can also have a case management call with us and this way we can help determine if you have had the right therapy or if anything additional can help and we can recommend: Our Online Program: Male: bit.ly/36HzP98 Case Management Consult: calendly.com/hinashethpt/60min-non-local?back=1&month=2020-07

Surprisingly what seems to help the most is stretching and heat therapy. The healing process is very very slow! However, I am making progress which is a good thing. It may take another 2 years before I’m completely healed and even then I’ll have to follow that up with heat and stretching just to maintain and of course no straining!!! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Do u have a tight rectum and do u not feel any urge to empty bowels coz its same with me
@siddharthmujumdar1107
@siddharthmujumdar1107 4 жыл бұрын
Initially it was a fissure which resulted in tightness but bowels were normal but as the days passed it started developing into a fistula and piles. So I got fissure, piles and fistula and after consulting so much of doctors and medicine it didn't recover so I had to undergo surgery in which fistula and piles were removed and the rectum was dilated in the process by the doctor and after that day everything is normal. So u should ask your doctor about dilation of rectum. But u know post op(operation/surgery) I go for cleaning every 7 days but last time doctor wasn't available so his assistant cleaned my rectum(I mean he removed the dead cells post op), and that stupid guy messed up it all by creating a fissure again now again I am feeling the tightness so remember never trust doctor's assistant , you should only trust the doctor. Procedure should be done by the doctor only and u can request this to doctor , as a patient we have the right. Discuss each and everything with the doctor don't be scared be bold , because it's about your life and I know how depressing this is. So good luck and take action.

Long-term diarrhea can lead to anal fissures and/or ulcers, and since this develops over time, a person often gets used to the condition until the fissure arrives and causes pain. Before surgical intervention, if chronic diarrhea is present, ask your doctor about trying cholestyramine to address Bile Acid Malabsorption, which can be the cause of a fissure. If bile acid is the cause of your problem, you will know if using cholestyramine powder helps you or not in just a few weeks, and for those who do have chronic diarrhea, this can become a very good solution and alternative to surgery. It is similar to the way they treat patients who have had their gall bladder removed, and thus have excess bile. Ask your physician! - j q t -

I can relate, I had a fissure for months. The worst part is that the stinging doesn’t stop for few hours after going to the bathroom. Anyway, here is what worked for me. Sitz bath, sitz baths and sitz baths. Here is what to do, first before you push out , clean the area preferably with water then apply cream with a cooling properties; this is step 1. Now Step 2: try not to strain too hard and it should come out soft and smooth if you have been avoiding constipation by adopting a fiber rich diet and drinking lots of water(at least 3 liters a day). You could also use over the counter stool softeners but be careful as an overdose might cause diarrhea. Rinse with water, preferably warm water and clean the area. Step 3 prepare you sitz bath . Use Warm water, the warmer the better but don’t burn your anus. Do sitz baths every 4 hours. You may also apply locale anesthetic cream before and after you defecate in case the pain is too much to handle. Remember sitz baths not only accelerate healing by increasing blood flow to the effected area but also relax the muscle which reduces the spasms that cause the stinging sensation . I would recommend you get checked out because you will need 2 medications , an antibiotic for preventing infections and another for bleeding. I hope this helps. Wish you a speedy recovery, Maan

Unfortunately we can’t satisfy everyone and our intention is to educate and provide knowledge on a subject that many health professionals and MD’s don’t even understand. You have to realize the sheer number of years and self education that goes into truly understanding and helping others. Many have expressed they have spent thousands of dollars, high emotional toll and lost time in understanding of what is going on. If we can help just a handful of people (which we do all the time) with our content then we have already made a difference. Can i get a phone consultation? I’m in dire need of help. My body isn’t using the bathroom at all. Enemas and laxatives don’t work. Goes in and nothing comes out. Major pain and fear. I need help but don’t know where to begin. No one usually responds. Had a colonoscopy a few years ago and they seen nothing. At that point time my body was half working but it’s getting worse by the minute

Sitz bath, eating little oats, papaya, figs might help you in long term, this is painful a lot then one can imagine so keep a diet check it is the most important, for sitz bath you may use Epsom salt or povidine iodine solution 10% to heal it faster if you start feeling good then use povidine iodine betadine tube over fissure in daily night it sometimes does wonders

If anyone can help that would be great, I been dealing with anal pain for 2 years now, I went in and got check out multiple times, basically what the doctor describe is the pain I'm feeling isn't hemorrhoids but is from the muscles in my butt tocks moving and contrasting when I walk. I can't walk for long periods of times and standing for a good period of time is also starting to become difficult. I'm not bleeding and is taking a good amount of fiber; I'm just looking for better solutions for the pain because I tried lidocaine and a lot of other products, but they don't seem to help with the muscles in my butt tocks. if anyone could help, please!! this pain is unbearable, and I go through it every day.

I've been constipated for 2 years now. I've tried everything. Seen 4 GI doctors and they did every single test they could with no answer as to why I'm so constipated. Different diets, stool softeners, laxatives, fiber. NO SOLUTION YET. It feels tight when I pass stools and they come out super thin sometimes. It feels almost as if something prevents it from coming out. I'm so convinced that this could be my issue. Idk where to go from this point. So uncomfortable:(

Thank you so much for the video. It helped me understand that the most important thing to do when having anal fissure is to relax the muscles there so blood can flow so the wound will be healed. So yesterday after seeing the video I filled my hot tub with worm water and lied there for some time. Then I took chunks of cold coconut oil and started trying to slowly push them inside. When it was all oily inside I inserted really carefully my finger as much as I could and tried to move it a little for a few minutes. The intention was to relax the tight muscles. I was in my finger for a few minutes like this, occasionally taking it out and inserting more chunks of coconut oil all this when I'm still in a full hot tub. Today when I went to the bathroom my muscles where so relaxed compared to yesterday. I did enema and went to the bathroom and it berlly hurt. One more day like this and the wound will be completely healed God willing. Please try it!!

Hi, have u tried mineral oil as a stool softener? And use baby wipes to clean your butt after a poo (must be thrown in the trash), or buy feminine hygiene wipes (buy the flushable kind). If you buy the flushable feminine wipes they will be perfect for public bathroom use / at home. Since they can be flushed and can be stored in your bag easily. And take the mineral oil (read recommended dose on back of container) and drink a glass of water or 2 (until you feel hydrated but dont force yourself too much since it can be dangerous). And continue taking the warm water sitz bath. If you feel extreme pain a doctor (or you) can put on gloves with a lubricant to gently removing the stool from in your bottom little by little. It sounds extremely gross but if the pain is extremely severe then removing the stool this way could be beneficial to you until your stool becomes very soft / can pass on its own. Iv also heard of some people taking pain killers to make it a little easier to manage with the bowel movement. Best of luck to you. Im sorry you have felt that way for 6 months, sounds like a nightmare

Jess Raid thank you so much for the reply I haven’t tried mineral oil as I will the baby wipes burned my fissure I think because of a little bit of acid they add. Fiber tends to bind me up even with lots of fluids I drink prune juice and milk of Magnesia I heard putting aloe Vera gel around area is it normal for skin tag to because painful like that? after watching this, I know I did something right. I was suffering from anal fissures for years. now I got rid of them and I'm doing great. relax, stretch, eat right, and workout are definitely some of the keys to cure this problem but the one thing I focused on is the anal stretching massage. you need your anal to be flexible and soft. anal muscle is just as same as any other muscle in your body. if you have hard muscle, you'll likely to injure easily when you run into an accident. but if you have soft muscle, you could just get away with a minor scar or no scar at all.

@@edgehodl4832 hi, I'm sorry I couldn't reply earlier. I'm not suggesting you do this but if you want to know what anal stretching massage is, I can tell you here but if you have a severe anal fissures, I suggest you to go see a doctor first. okay, it's gonna be little long but here's the step. you need to wash and clean your anal before the massage. (also, cut your nail so you wont hurt yourself) I suggest you do this massage after taking a shower before go to bed. clean your anal area and let it dry first. next, disinfect your fingers with medical disinfection liquid. let them dry. take some anal fissure ointment or vaseline on your finger. (you'll definitely need them to lubricate both fingers and anal) and gently apply to your anal. using tip of fingers, start lubing anal area. gently push fingers into anal. (use one finger if you aren't comfortable) you don't have to go deep. now, push them in, and hold it there for like five to ten seconds, and pull them out. do it slow. keep doing this continuously for two to three minutes. the most important part is to RELAX while you are massaging. you don't wanna tighten the muscle. let it relax and let the fingers do the job. if you start with one finger, try it with two. then three. I think three fingers will probably be tight enough to stretch anal open little wider. after the massage, wipe off any excess vaseline around the anal erea but don't wipe off completely since it can protect the skin from drying out. you underwear will be left with bit of oil stain but its a good trade off if you can get rid of pain. do this everyday, or at least, 4,5 times a week. once you get comfortable, buy something called "anal plug" yes, it sounds weird but you can go to amazon and find one. I recommend glass-made plug that has narrow tip at the top, wider to the bottom. they are easy to clean, and they don't deteriorate like silicone rubber ones. and they can be used with water-based or oil-based lubricant if you want to. I use vaseline cuz it can moisturize the skin it seems. don't buy a glass plug that is too narrow since it might accidentally break while massaging. get a short and stocky one, something like 0.5 inch top 1.5inch to the bottom. pick one that looks easy to insert. the plug is smoother than fingers so its kind of easy to insert and stretch anal muscle. always apply a descent amount of ointment or vaseline on it before going in. always check the tool before using it. for your own safety. and don't forget to disinfect the tool before using it. wash and clean your hands and tools after the massage. here's few points to remember in addition to massage. 1. eat veggies and drink water 2. don't sit too long. 3. do exercise (walking, running etc.) 4. DO NOT try to push poop out. instead, breathe. loosen anal muscle, try to relax and let it out by itself. 5. if you are planning to use vaseline, do not share it with anyone else. use your own, and keep it clean. anything else you need to know, let me know. thanks
